I haven't played Beat agents, but I really like Kirby. I like the Rockband series too... would that count as rhythm? I've read several reviews for each and they're mixed so I don't know. It doesn't help that I'm watching a Starfy commercial at the moment either.
Ahem. I think I'll take a page from Charlie the Unicorn's book with this reply: Rhythm Heaven: Pros:
Simple yet endearing graphics
50 addicting minigames, almost all of which are great
Normally upbeat, memorable soundtrack
Variety and value
Wacky charm and distinct Japanese feel
Understands what the player wants
Rewarding/fulfilling
"Skip a minigame if it's too hard for you" option
Cons:
Sometimes insane difficulty
Almost strictly for the musically inclined
Provides little in the way of constructive criticism
Some vocals and lyrics bordering on awful
Overall: 8.7/10*
The Legendary Starfy: Pros:
Packed with content
Adorable story and characters
Good soundtrack
Makes fairly clever use of the DS hardware
Quality graphics
Well thought-out levels
Multiplayer, while scarce, is implemented masterfully
Just plain fun minigames (once you figure out how to play them)
Cons:
Extremely easy
Sometimes too much is happening in the game at one time, though that might be a pro for some
Cluttered menus and features
Most collectibles are pointless
Character voice snippets can get annoying
Overall: 8.5/10*
Feel free to correct me about anything and everything in this post, and note that I am not recommending Rhythm Heaven over The Legendary Starfy, because I don't think these games should really be compared. *I have not beaten either of these games completely yet, so these are not complete impressions.
you mentioned you really like Kirby, so I'd go for Starfy if I were you.
BEST THREAD EVER future of NL >:3

[16:44] LztheBlehBird: James doesn't know the rules? For shame!!!
@minial: If you love multiplayer FPS, buy CoD4 right now. Don't own a 360/PS3/PC? Tough luck, go buy one
As for what you actually care about, I think The Conduit will last you the longest, RH is best if you want a quirky unique rhythm game, and Stafi is a safe bet if you like platformers.
Overall, wait till The Conduit gets some reviews, then decide.
If you can, get both. If you can't get Starfy. I got Starfy the other day and I love it! But, I've also heard that Rhythm Heaven is a pretty good game, too!
@Dark Link: I can only get one... and I might pick up both over time, but Its between Conduit, Starfy, and Wii Sports Resort currently, but I'm leaning towards Starfy right now. Plus I have at leasty two weeks to decide so...
Actually, the Wii version of Ghostbusters looks good. Is it worth the cash? I'm a huge fan of the series, and the game sounded good as soon as I heard about it.
Well, I'm back to Starfy after reading some crud reviews for ghostbusters. It [Starfy] sounds like the perfect game so far, unless something good comes out soon that I can't live without. My freind plans to get Conduit, so I'll just borrow it from him.
