So after downloading Mix Superstar yesterday on a whim and really liking it i got even more ambitious and decided to take a chance on this DSiWare game. I'm quite pleased with this title for a measly 2 dollars which is alot less money spent than if I went out and played a real slot machine. Sure, playing the real thing also nets me real money but honestly, how many times do you walk away from a slot machine with more money than you approached it with? Not often in most cases. So anyway, the game features 3 different slot machines, each with a little higher risk than the last. But with big risk comes big (possible) reward. There is a little bit of a story but nothing too interesting. Essentially your this dude with a bunch of money and you decide to go to Vegas and try your luck on the slots. You start with 500 credits and build up from there. Each machine is explained the first time you play it and there is the option to view the payout table for each one. You can take your total sum of money and buy luxeries with it but be careful, If your funds drop to zero, you will have to sell off some of those noce things to get more money to continue gambling. Each table is quite different and requires different strategies. My favorite is the lowest risk one, the Hawaii themed machine. In this machine the max bet is 5 credits. The catch here is for an additional 5 credits you can hold any of the 3 slots for one spin. This adds a certain layer of strategy and is a nice addition. Also on this machine is the "risk" button. Say you spin the slots and win 25 credits. By pressing the risk button you have a 50/50 chance of either doubling your win or losing it all. You can press this button as many times as you want so long as you have some winnings to risk. This is a very very risky option that has bitten me in the backside more than a few times but it's very exciting to double big winnings like 200 credits. The other machines have different functions but honestly, Ihaven't played those enough to remember in great detail exactly what they are. I can say though that the Mexico themed machine is EXTREMELY high risk and a bet can go as high as 900 credits a spin!!! All in all this is quite a nice little game/app and well worth the price of admission for me. 8/10

So has anyone else taken the plunge with this one? Share you thoughts here.

It's rated teen, but I'm not sure I like the idea of a game that introduces minors to gambling.
