RabidPikachu	121. Posted: Wed 30th Jan 2013 21:46 GMT After hatching only 17 eggs I scored a shiny Snivy today and evolved it into Serperior. Now I'm trying for Oshawott but after 49 eggs no luck. I'm using the masuda method and have a shiny charm but even so the odds are 1 in 1024...

Good luck in getting oshowatt though.

gekslupis	129. Posted: Sat 2nd Feb 2013 03:26 GMT I have a shiny goldeen in diamond. I ran into a shiny gastly in platinum near the beginnning of the game but had only 3 pokeballs left. I tried weakening it with my bidoof and it critical hit it.

You can look on GTS for a shiny, they give them away there, but you don't really want them since their hacked and low in stats. Your better off get a shiny old fashioned way, with the right stats and egg move set. Like how I got this little guy~

Not sure if HeartGold carried that over or not...
