How come so many people refuse to enjoy the games that are available now, and only care about what is coming in the future? Are gamers really such and impatient and unappreciative bunch? Do they simply prefer anticipation to actual gaming? Just strikes me as odd.
No, they just love to b**** about it on the internet to people who might care

I cant speak for every gamer, but since the New Year has came in, I think the quailty of games that Nintendo has release for the (N.A.)Dsi shop has increase almost 100 percent. Before their were some gems to be had on the service, but seemed to far in between weekly updates . The shop has been full of awesomeness and ive really enjoy that. Maybe Nintey has been spoiling us lately and we are expecting to much from them. Honestly, I think every gamer as always on the look out for the next big thing.
Also these forums are great for random gamer ranting. Its good that we have a place to vent and such.
2 words "Who knows". On Nintendo's website it said that Shantae would come out in the first quarter, and it didn't. It also happened with prehistoric man, Nintendo said in the summer at E3 and it came out like 2 months ago (I want both Shantae and Prehistoric Man)
Yea, I was also looking forward to Prehistork Man finally getting release on the DSi shop. However, NL killed that for me with their review.
You know, isn't this like the most highly demanded DSiware game on the site, let alone outside of it? Well then why the delay for it? Don't get me wrong, I can be patient, but first it was for Q4 of last year, then Q1, and now Q2. Why all the delays? Unless they're tinkering with it to make it better. Either way, I hope it's 800 points. That's all I have lol
FF6: Release year- 1994 Kefka's birthday - November 9th So.... my life is practically mirroring Kefka? Cool.
It never really had a set date, so it was never technically delayed. As I said earlier, a "Q" date is a possible date. Like Cave Story, the developers are putting more finishing touches on the game before its release

WayForward is probably slaving over it day and night making it as perfect as possible for us. I just saw the trailer for it on IGN and if it looked good before it looks even better in motion. While you may want it at 800, I feel that especially considering Wayforward's making it into 3 parts they should make each 500 points, if only as an apology for making us wait so long. Besides, while this may be a dream project for WayForward, I'm sure they hope to make a profit from it (as a sidethought) and I am (and I'm pretty sure most other people) would rather pay 500 points for a game than 800 points. Or perhaps they could price the first episode for 500 points to get people interested in the game then make the second and third episodes 800 points. I'm sort of thinking as I'm typing.

I'm just saying that 800 would be convient for me, and I hope that they don't over price it like Thorium Wars was. But either way, I hope it actually comes out soon, but my next question are the sequels. If there was such a long wait for this one, what about the other 2? Would they come out quarterly, monthly, every 2 quarters?

I'm kind of hoping they've been pushing the game's expected release date back just so they can release the other two episodes quickly one after another. But we've all been focusing on Risky's Revenge because WayForward hasn't said anything about either of the two other episodes. We don't even have subtitles for them.

Now that is true. But then again, we can't have the sequels come out until the first one does. And I remember reading in Nintendo Power once that they would take criticism from the first game to improve the third one, so that begs the question how long it would take to get an episode done. Sure, the first game is for all we know done, the second one may be pretty far along, but I don't think the third one is anywhere near close to the start. Will the sacrifice quality in order to keep the fans happy? I would take a little wait, but waiting an excess of 6 months is a little excessive, and that's just the first one.

Hopefully it is done and will be out this month I can wait but I'd much rather play it at this point. I saw the video and that enought to hold me down and keep me interested. Videos is what makes this game different than Brawl's release, sure we had the dojo for that but we did get quite a few videos on the story and gameplay. Gameplay vids are what we should at least get until the game releases. Oh and price at under 1k points, I kinda only have 1100 that have been waiting for the game but i'm interested in myPostCard as well...
If you want to play wifi games with me just let me know
