On that note, I cant figure out what to do once I go on my quest. Wheres the pup? How do I jump higher?

B) Try double-jumping.

Double Jumping? How? Dont think I can.

Alright. Um....Theres nowhere deeper into the forest, the map ends at the bakers house. The stupid golems wont let me pass either.

You can't double jump, but wait until you get Monkey Shantae.

On a totally different note, I jusst hooked up a wireless keyboard after spending 30 minutes trying to make it work. Turns out it was batteries. Wow.

Edit: Wow. I am punching myself in the face for not seeing that. Thanks. I also got a 100 gem reward for owning MFC, so thats cool.

Where do I get Monkey Shantae?
I'm stuck in the first dungeon and it looks like I need it/her.

Sweet, heading to the Ammo Tower I think, but taking a break.
Do I fight all the sages, or is it just the Octopus?

I have 700 gems and 6 jams, do I just buy everything that's in the shop? (Is there anything that comes up later that is worth saving for?)

I could seriously use some help as I can't find the Squid Baron or Octopus in the dungeon. I've got Shantae's monkey transformation but I still can't find that Squid Baron anywhere in the cavernous dungeon. I thought it would appear at the Genie statue where I got Monkey Shantae but I'm lost and confused. Could someone help me find the Squid Octopus Baron? I've been through the entire cavern and still no Squid Baron. Where did he go?

@TokyoRed Can't remember exactly, but I think you have to climb up a ceiling around the beginning.

Late edit: From the second room of the dungeon, take the bottom right door. Keep going until you get to the chains, then just use the monkey to keep going up.

I got to the save point, then to this hall thats basically a drop straight down, with no way up. What do I do?

My Ryan says that he is still stuck. Needs more help.

Ugh, this girl in "Ammo Town" told me I need monkey dash and elephant stomp. Ive been searching the desert for hours.

I've beaten the game (yeah, that took pretty much all my free time yesterday), so let's see if I can help...

Regarding the first dungeon: Listen for crickets chirping. When you hear them, there's a hidden path nearby. For some reason, this seems to be the ONLY dungeon that works this way, and you WILL need to take at least one such hidden path through a ceiling to find the boss room.

@jdarrell: I suggest going for the hair products and books (magnetize drops and auto-refill magic) first. I think the latter appear later, but I'm not sure exactly what caused it for me...I bought the first hair product and then both of those with my first five jams.

@MysteriousVoice: Both will be in caves below those massive purple rocks you can smash with the elephant...one near the warp point in the lower-left of the map, the other in the return shortcut cave after the battle tower, IIRC.

Errr...I dont have elephant yet.

Go to the screen before Rottytops. The cave to the left of the pit should be the one that uses the forest key.

Thanks Stuffgamer! I also have the three-way fireball, I think it's required about halfway into the game to hit some purple blocks. At first I had no idea that you can buy the basic spells without jam and new items get added when you buy non-potions.

I need help finding the Monkey Magic in the first dungeon.

I can't remember that part. I think it was just get the key for the bottom-right door near the beginning, then keep going and use your hair to hit all the purple blocks. It should be a one-way path to the monkey magic.

It's not. I'm so confused................
