I wouldn't be surprised if they have already. In fact, you can even mention to IGN via email to their mailbag or something that you'd like to know if Nintendo is aware of the spacing issue and plans to release something soon. Maybe they'll even ask Denise about it, who knows.

@starkiller the best way for nintendo to know about this will be youtube.

This is ground control to major Tom, you've really made the grade. And the papers want to know whose shirts you wear
Now it's time to leave the capsule if you dare

Mr_DSi

If Nintendo hasn't done it in Japan, there's got to be a good reason because the DSi has been out in Japan for a year now.

Be patient. Remember how long it took us to get one on the Wii.

But they already have the know-how, so why not just port the code?

You do have a good point there. For all we know, Nintendo might be secretly working on one right now. I think there's a chance of one coming sometime next year so just hold your horses.

Here's the response I got:
"We appreciate hearing about the types of products and options that you would like to see from us in the future and I’m happy to forward on your comments on the idea of an SD menu option with the Nintendo DSi. While there are currently no plans for such a menu option, you can always count on Nintendo--the worldwide leader and innovator in the creation of interactive entertainment--to offering the most imaginative products.

to offering the most imaginative products.
I imagine there was a bit of copy/paste right there...

"Nintendo--the worldwide leader and innovator"

Clearly copy and paste since this topic is about something that's is putting Nintendo WAY behind the competition. lol stupid responses that make people look dumb.

I've been banging on about a storage solution for ages now. I want to be able to play from the SD card like on the Wii Nintendo! C'mon!
