Same (well, not about the clothes), but I need some money for Scribble, the Scribble official guide, Nintendo points, and... oh, that's it! I might have enough golds!!!

Yeah. Mario's gonna sell no matter what, and lets admit it, it really isn't that different from superstar saga. Meanwhile, 5th cell have put their heart and soul into scribblenauts, an new IP.
At the moment Scribblenauts is ahead of Inside Story in the best seller charts for both amazon.com and gamestop's chart. So at least for the pre-ordering I say Scribblenauts will do well.

You definitely have that backwards.
Does that mean you like Scribblenauts?
No, that means Mario and Luigi will be the one stealing sales from Scribblenauts.
Anything Mario vs. a new IP most people outside of those who check gaming sites, magazines, etc. have never heard of.
You'd have to be nuts to believe Scribble is selling more than Mario.
There is one slight exception to your rule. I believe de Blob outsold Wario Land and more people know about Wario Land. Other than that your right. New IPs have a hard enough time succeeding without a huge name like Mario to compete with.
Well, to the average user Wario is Mario. Just like Shadow the Hedgehog sold just as well as any modern Sonic. He's part of the Mario universe, just with the M turned upside down. It's not like saying de Blob outsold something random like Endless Ocean or even Zelda/Metroid. It outsold a Mario related title. So, in short Wario is "something Mario" and not just "something Nintendo."
