Has anybody else downloaded Rytmik (it's basically a music creator for the DS)? It came out in Europe, though I'm not sure about the Americas and such-like. Personally, I thinks it's fantastic- there's a wide range of nicely done clips and the ability to create your own is immense, and overall it's set out well. The only thing negative to say (in my opinion) is the tutorials-or lack of them. There's hardly anything in the manual but you do get eventually get your head around it all. I'm also interested to hear what anybody else thinks about it-please comment.
I've so far spent about half an hour on this (I bought it earlier today) and am quite excited with what it can do.
However, I was planning to buy Jam with the Band on release date (in a week or so) and wondered whether this is as comprehensive a music tool/game one could buy for a Nintendo console.
I know for one thing that in Jam with the Band, you can play along to the music (a la Pop 'n' Music).
I'll say it again though - despite not generally being talented at music, I think I'm going to like this game.
This app really seems cool and useful but you guys hardly ever update the wikipedia site. Can someone let me know how many blocks this one takes up? Even though this title doesnt have a release date for the US yet, I like to know what I would have to get rid of when this game is finally released in the states. I would guess about 69 or so........ thanks in advance

127 blocks, my good man. Fortunately for me, I had a reletively empty DS anyway, so I had no issues with clearing space for it...
And yes. This app IS really cool and useful.
I recently figured out that you can change the pitch of a note up and down two octaves beyond the (initially limiting) scale, so I am busy converting some FL Studio compositions of mine into Rytmik - until I become better at composing with the App itself.
@edhe: “127 blocks” is really what I was hopeing for. Really makes me think im getting my moneys worth when they use all 20mbs for these Downloadable games(at least the 800 pointers).
oh, and if your entering the comp. for a chance at a share of 30,000 NP's, good luck to ya .
I'm glad it's 127 blocks. Any smaller and I'd think they skimped on the samples. I would totally transfer old DSiWare off my DSi for this. Any word of when it will be released in the NA store? Hopefully... this coming week?
