I ordered it from an Ebay shop in North America yesterday along with Konami Arcade Classics and Metroid Prime Pinball so I'll find out the hype soon enough! Seriously, how did I not know about a Pinball game for the DS I could actually buy (still waiting for that DSiWare one to get a Japanese release)?
@Sean Aaron: I thought Metroid Prime Pinball was pretty awesome when it first came out, in the off chance you still have the old school DS, it should come with a rumble pack if you bought it new. Did you pick up Pinball Pulse: The Ancients Beckon for the DSi, that game is pretty fun too, the only limitation is it has a single board.
What is the meaning of life? That's so easy, the answer is TETRIS.
I'm getting a complete unit, but since I have a DSi LL, no GBA cart slot, so no rumble.
Pinball Pulse is the name of the DSiWare game I was thinking of. Sadly DSi LL is Japanese, so no Pinball Pulse for me until a Japanese release. Since Nintendo is the publisher in other territories I'm hopeful that will happen in the next couple of months given the five month gap between the NA and EU releases.
I Rank it the Best game I Ever Downloaded, and I'm not much of a pinball game fan
For you, the day LordJumpMad graced your threads, was the most important day of your life. But for me, it was Tuesday. [url=http://www.backloggery.com/jumpmad]Unive...
Sean - I'm pretty sure you know this, but Pinball Pulse was developed by the same team as Mario Pinball Land for GBA and Metroid Prime Pinball, so if you like those you'd probably like Pinball Pulse (whenever it's released in Japan).
@Birdman13: I think FUSE almost exclusively makes pinball games.
@Odnetnin: Pinball is fun and takes quite a lot of skill. Pinball games are fun and you don't end up wasting your money for the most part. Not all pinball games are worth getting though and not many people spend time on playing pinball games or offer opinions or suggestions I feel. Take this tidbit I have about Pinball Heroes for PSP, its an alright pinball game, but they're kinda hit and miss when it comes to different boards, some are really fun and interesting, some just plain suck; I'd say not worth getting all in all.
@Qwikman: I think its called Game Center CX2, sadly the NA publishers didn't feel the second one would be worth localizing in the US after it expectedly didn't sell tons here. Niche games don't generally sell well. I wonder if you need to know Japanese to fully enjoy CX2...

@Sean- I think u can get RGC2 in Japan, if I'm not mistaken.
...Lucky you...
I don't live in Japan, so I'll have to import like anyone else. Still you're right, I am lucky for many other reasons!
I'm also curious if language is a big problem for the sequel. I enjoy the show on the Japanese Nintendo Channel (only reason I ever launch it), but I don't find my lack of Japanese a problem to following it.
Good find Odnetnin. Good thing about that detective game is it uses hiragana rather than kanji so theorhetically with a good dictionary you might be able to get through it if you can read that. Sadly knowledge of the show isn't going to be easily gained. If it's optional then I suppose it could be skipped.
I'll have to see how I get on with the first one before I think seriously about importing the sequel...
For GCCX2, only 2 games are Japanese heavy. The Detective adventure game and the RPG Gaudia Quest Saga. There is a great guide to beat both detective games on Gamefaqs. For GQS, the battle system is the same as the first except for the new Guadia system. The spells are the same as the first. You can get the FAQ to the first Gaudia Quest on GameFaqs for the 1st game.

There is a cheat in Gaudia Quest, you can beat it without fighting the final boss....somewhere past Centraan (I think that is what its called) there is a place where the Royal Tomb is. You must take a certain number of steps then press Look right at the spot in front of you. A secret staircase will appear! Go down it and talk to the old man there....he will let you watch the credits and the game will have complete next to it!
