Been finding a lot of Cheap DS games in the bargain bins and bargain bins aren't that previlent where i live, it's more about the luck of the draw, you either see it cheap on the shelves or the in the DVD/ electronic bargain bins at The Warehouse (It's the NZ equivilent of Walmart, I guess?) or you don't.
EB games has been a good source for cheap DS games, although you only see a few good hidden gems here and there, most of the scraps are garbage shovelware games like Zenses (whatever that game is, it keeps appearing somehow in the preowned section ALL the time).
But I've gotten a few games now and i'm pretty stoked, some i've disregarded in the past or never heard of entirely. I recently purchased Dragon Quest Monsters Joker, Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2, Away: Shuffle Dungeon, Aliens: Infestation and Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Explorers of Time.
So far i've been playing DQMJ2 and that's a great game, probably my favourite DQ spinoff so far, I actually bought it before Joker 1, but I'll get around to that game some time.
I've never heard of Away: Shuffle Dungeon, I haven't tried it out yet but apparently according to Wikipedia it was one of the first games made by Hironobu Sakaguchi's new studio Mistwalker, who recently made The Last Story. I got the imported European version, so it is one of those huge white DS cases (which I despise) and it hasn't got the better box art that the US version has.

So what have you peoples been purchasing on DS lately? found any hidden gems in those Bargain Bins of yours? I'm still playing DS even though I own a 3DS, probably because I can't find many decent 3DS games that I haven't played yet, also the 3DS lacks good RPGs and I can wait on getting Tales of the Abyss for a while longer. Not too keen on SRPGs like Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor Overclocked, unless it's anything like Dragon Quest Monsters Joker 2 i'll leave it alone (i'm not a SRPG-loving kind of guy). If you've found a good Bargain bin RPG, let me know and i'll see if I can scout it (heh LOL DQMJ joke), jokes aside I'm really trying to catch up at getting those awesome DS RPGS before they become rare, hard-to-come-by or obscure.
I can tell you that up until now i havn't been interested in Atlus RPGs in general, but if Legacy of Ys: Books I & II is anything to go by, then I'll get any I find immediately. I've seen a copy of Draglade (developed by Atlus) floating in the bargain bins at my local EB games recently, I'm not sure if that's an RPG, but looks somewhat interesting.
So Anyway I'd loved to hear more from you guys about you people bought recently, comment below, share your thoughts and purchases with me and the rest of the NL forumers.

I just started a threat about overlooked "licensed" games... I mentioned my most recent purchase: Alice in Wonderland for the DS. It has really surprised me. The art style, platformer-puzzle elements, and the inventive (if not sometimes repetitive) use of the camera are really cool.
I also just snagged Valkyrie Profile to hold me over until Fire Emblem comes out here. Really deep and different in it's gameplay gimmicks.

Do you mean the DS Valkyrie Profile, Covenant of the Plume? Yeah I got given that as as gift, I don't like SRPGs in general but his game is pretty ok, i'm stuck in the level where you have to rescue that girl before she gets executed, that is one seriously hard level (can you help with that?).
Also speaking of Fire Emblem, are they gonna release the other DS Fire Emblem to keep the DS alive or is that only Japan-exclusive? i haven't seen any mention or Operation Fan demand for that title or other games like that Japan-exclusive Chibi Robo game in ages, i guess they all got forgotten. Also one RPG that wasn't released here was The Wizard of Oz: Beyond the yellow brick road, that looked AWESOME!!! It looks inspired by Dragon Quest and I LOOOOOOOOOVE Dragon Quest. Too bad I can't get it imported.

Contact confused the heck out of me... even with the instruction booklet. Maybe I'm just a little slow... It was really witty though.

The Last DS game I brought was Aliens Infestation,in March for £7.49.

There are nowadays very cheap games for DS. I´m from Mexico and there are a lot of cheap DS games.
I bought recently
Kirby Super Star Ultra (10 dls, 150 pesos)
Mario & Luigi 3 (12.5 dls, 200 pesos)
Dragon Quest IX (15 dls, 250 pesos)
Castlevania Order of Ecclesia (12.5 dls, 200 pesos)

But i search very well because this discounts don´t apply in all stores but at this prices i bought them at the moment.

I bought The World Ends with You last month, finally, but I haven't touched it. Maybe summertime will be good.

Nope. I am opening it as soon as it gets in my hands. I really wanted the soundtrack, so I made sure to get an unopened version.

Let me know how easy it is to play. I know very little japanese, but I'd love to play that some time.

I'll let you know once It gets here. Looks a little hard. But if it's too hard to understand, it might motivate me to learn some japanese the Rosetta Stone way.

I was wondering if Metal Max 2 DS is worth getting instead of the original Super Famicom version (I think I can rule out the GBA since it just looks like a port of the SFC).
I did get MM3 though I haven't played it yet (it was a new copy, and from a sticker on it, I guess it was a reprint released alongside MM2)

@Kingmike

Good question, especially if you already have whatever you require to play SFC games. The SFC version is super cheap, but the game seems to be significantly improved on the DS. I'm going for that version for the extras, assuming it's playable. Plus, the Limited Edition is cheap.
