Oh loookie, another fan of Raymans Dsiware release! Silly me as I thought I was the only one left on this site

Edit: So have you had a chance to complete this one yet?
I've manage to pass all the levels leading to the final world but going back to collect all of those orbs(I think their called) is becoming a bit of a pain for me. Don't want to but I may just breakdown and use a strategy gudie for this one :/ .

I agree with Qwikman that PiCTOBiTS gets too hard. After lots of perservering, though, I managed to complete all the stages, get all the music and now the only thing I haven't done is get stars on the last two remix stages (it's almost impossible). By the way, when you've completed every stage you unlock Credits+, which is almost the same as the normal credits, but at the end Mario and Luigi appear and you get a little message - 'CONGRATULATIONS - GAME IS OVER', while the SMB ending tune plays. It was a nice touch.

I am finally breaking down and doing this to add to the milieu of opinions.

Art Style: Aquia – Solid, fun puzzle game but got too difficult by level 10. 7/10
Nintendo DSi Browser – It is slow and not useful. 3/10
Art Style: Pictobits – Fun for a while but gets insanely frustratingly hard. Janky controls also get in the way. 7/10
Mighty Flip Champs! – Simple premise that feels fresh all the way through. 8/10
Mario vs. Donkey Kong: Minis March Again! – Awesome value for a downloadable game. 9/10
Art Style: Boxlife – Nice concept but wore thin for me by the end of the game. 7/10
Art Style: Base 10 – My favorite Art Style game. Fun to play and master. 8/10
Art Style: Zengage – Poor music and presentation mar what could have been great. 6/10
Sudoku Student – Solidly implemented but sudoku is just bleh. 5/10
Art Style: Precipice – Really unique puzzle concept that does not have enough content for $5. 8/10
FlipNote Studio – Nice program to doodle around with. 8/10
Pop Plus: Solo – A huge disappointment. Not fun at all. 5/10
Puzzle League Express – Started out really fun but just got too hard in the end. 7/10
Pinball Pulse: The Ancients Beckon – Highly polished, well presented pinball with lots of secrets. 7/10
Picturebook Games: Royal Bluff – Well presented but highly repetitive gameplay that does not motivate the player one bit. 6/10
Art Style: Digidrive – Fun for a while but gets insanely frustratingly hard. 7/10
Castle of Magic – Made me decide to never support Gameloft. Too short, very easy and completely forgettable. 6/10
Rayman – I used to have this game on PS1 and could not beat it. I decided to download this one and beat it. I got much further but gave up in the end. 6/10
Pop Island – Thin gameplay concept but very appealing aesthetic make this a good multiplayer buy. 8/10
Trajectile – Packed with great content and worth all of the $5 it cost. 9/10
Touch Solitaire – Does what it says and no more but has that Nintendo level of polish. 8/10
Dark Void Zero – A real retro treat that took me back to the good old days of my youth. 8/10
Escapee GO! – Lacks a good story but makes up for it with tense gameplay. 8/10
Chronos Twins – Unique gameplay that is just challenging enough on the Novice level. 8/10
Starship Defense – Addictive, intense tower defense that had me coming back for more. 8/10
Number Battle – A criminally overlooked strategy game that kept me hooked until the end. 8/10
Spotto! – Trajectile lite with cute characters. Humorous and fun. 8/10
Aura-Aura Climber – Best 200 point game on the service in my opinion but the acheivements can get tedious. 8/10
Save the Turtles – Polished, cute puzzle game that is also fairly deep. 8/10
Photo Dojo – Fun to play with my kids and relatives but not by myself. 7/10
Looksley's Line Up – Very pleasant little game with just enough content for $5. Your mileage may vary on the camera performance. 8/10
X-Scape – Great DSiWare game worth every bit of $8. Could have been a little longer but it was all quality. 9/10
A Kappa's Trail – Tough from the outset but doable and packed with cool content and great music. 8/10
Face Pilot – Very pleasant little game with a lot of content for $5. Your mileage may vary on the camera performance. 8/10
Flametail - Takes some getting used to but when you do you will be hooked. Great music, simple presentation. Good value for $5.

I know this thread hasn't been used in years, but I thought I'd give my two cents.

Legend of Zelda: Four Swords Anniversary Edition - 9/10

  • Great remake of the original Four Swords. The graphics have been updated slightly from the GBA to the DS and the sprite-work looks pretty good. The addition of a single-player mode is great for me, because I don't know many people that own this game so I can't really play multiplayer. The gameplay is not your typical Zelda, but rather you explore through randomly generated levels solving puzzles using your partners and getting to the end, where there's a boss. New areas like the Realm of Memories and Hero's Trial are also cool additions to the game (Hell, I'm still trying to beat the third door in the Hero's Trial to this day, it's THAT hard). Some problems I have with this game is that Link has very little buffer time after he gets hit, and you can pretty much lose a great amount of health if you get cornered by enemies, which can get very annoying. I do also wish that the game had download play, because once again I don't know many people who have this game so it's very hard to find someone to play with. Not a perfect game, but for being a free Zelda, I can't deny that I've sunk hours into this adventure.

Rayman - 9/10

  • Great port of the original game, hell I'd say it might even be my favorite versions of Rayman 1. The sprites and animations all look great for the system, with pretty much all of them being intact from the original releases. The sprites look way better than the compressed sprites in Rayman Advance. The gameplay is pretty much unchanged from the original, and it controls very well. I've heard some people say that this version is kinda buggy, but honestly I have barely ever encountered any bugs during my play time. I've also heard complaints of people saying that the developers made this version too easy, but honestly because of the lower difficulty I was able to enjoy this game more. One problem I have with this game is when you go up to a checkpoint and the game takes a picture of you. Every time you have to go through hearing that shutter sound effect that plays when you get a picture taken, and you can't turn it off. But other than that it's a pretty damn good port of Rayman 1. Check it out if you get the chance.

(This is where I'll end it here for now, I'll get to updating this list more in the future.)
