I'm planning on buying a DSi later today, that way I can give my DS Lite to my sister since she's wanting Pokemon now, lol. Anyways, I heard somewhere that some games can be messed up when switching to a new DS or whatever...Though I'm not entirely sure id its just the Wifi stuff (like I use the wifi stuff much anyways) I'm hearing or not, someone clear this up for me please...kthnxbai.
I love Erica (Strike Witches), Eureka (Eureka Seven), and Tenma (School Rumble), stay away from them. xD
Update: Also love Yukari and Mizore from Rosario + Vampire.
Another Update: Also Yuuki...from School Rumble...
Yet Another Update: Also Amber and Xiao Pai from Rune Factory 4.

I don't know, but I'd have to say, that's probably a rumor.

i think i know what ur talking about
i had a ds lite before i got my dsi, so i played online games on the lite before i got the dsi
when i put a wifi game that i played on the lite into my dsi, it said the wifi id was different and asked if i wanted to delete the old one
basically, when u get ur DSi, make sure to transfer ur DS Lite's Wifi connection ID to the DSi

@BellGoRiiing: you may have heard that about pirated game carts, which may play on the phat/lite but will not play on a DSi. As long as you're sure all your games are legit copies, though, you'll be fine.
edit: also, like Irken said, make sure you transfer your wi-fi settings before giving your little sister your DS if you play wi-fi games. :3

Nevermind guys, just got the DSi. I think I got it mixed up with the Wifi deal....the online games and records and all that will have to be reset and stuff.
6. Posted: Thu 11th Jun 2009 01:31 BST
but u wouldn't have to if u transfer the info from the Lite to the DSi!!!
7. Posted: Thu 11th Jun 2009 01:34 BST
Well thing is I don't really use the online stuff in my games much anyways...so I'm good. Thanks though guys.

o, well ok then
have fun with ur DSi (i know u will!)
btw what color did u get?
9. Posted: Thu 11th Jun 2009 03:12 BST
I got black. Was wondering though, how do the photos work? I know you take pics and all that, but can it read pics that I have saved on my computer? I tried putting a few on an SD and the DSi wouldn't read them. sniff

i tried that too when i got mine (also black!) but unfortunately it won't work it only read pics that it took itself (unless it's a DSi pic from someone else's SD card)

That...sucks!!! Waaaah!I gotta find a way to get it to read them. XD
12. Posted: Thu 11th Jun 2009 03:23 BST

well u can try taking pics of them on a computer screen if u want (sometimes that'll work fine) but if u can find a way to put them onto the card let me know!
btw where is ur avatar from?

@BellGoRiiing, Irken: it explains that on page 38 of your user manual, guys... "Only photos taken with a Nintendo DSi can be displayed or edited in Nintendo DSi Camera. Photos taken with a digital camera or mobile phone cannot be displayed, nor can photos captured on a Nintendo Dsi if they have been copied to an SD Card and then edited on a PC or other device, or renamed." :3
