I realy want a r4( or somthing like that ) to play my homebrewed games one and stuff like that( colors ) but is it true that 1.4 blocks flash cards forever, in that case, thoose it exist a r4 that works for the ds(fat) and the dsi?

There's a DSi version of most of these cards. But you need to update it I guess to make it work again.
