Anyone still playing these games? I'm playing Explorers of Darkness and I've also played Blue Rescue Team. What's your favourite game in this spin-off series? I know the story in the sequels isn't that much dissimilar to the Rescue team games, but I feel gameplay-wise they play a lot better. I like having the option of speeding up the movement speed of your character, something I think was lacking from the originals. I just discovered that this morning when playing it with that option and I was like "this game just got twice as fun then when I first started."
I liked Blue rescue team, but it was more of a port of the GBA version and there wasn't much about the game that took advantage of the DS' capabilites. I guess the Explorers games don't do that much either, but they're fun none the less.
I like that this series doesn't force you to capture every single pokemon to beat the game, I like recruiting and while it's hard to recruit some pokemon, once you reach a certain level it becomes slightly more easier to recruit weaker pokemon. That said, recruiting isn't forced upon you but I like trying different pokemon to see what works and then just level-grind my team and then beat the game.
Well What do you guys think, do you think they should make more sequels? Like maybe have the next two on the 3DS with the new 5th gen pokemon? or do you think this series has gone as far it has been able to go? Storywise, the series needs to take a bold new step, but I'm thinking that Nintendo could easily get away with keeping the same gameplay style as the DS games.

Oh yeah, I'm sure they could port those to the 3DS, perhap as 3DS Download Software titles? I would be happy with that instead of sequels for the 3DS.

I've got the Blue rescue team,Explores of Time, and Sky.
And while they're fun games, they're were a wee bit hard for my casual taste.

They're great games. I wish that they would port the WiiWare ones PLUS with Gen V Pokemon to the eShop! Maybe late next year so Genesect can be in it?
I'd like to say that I recommend my my Backloggery, but I haven't updated it in a long time!

Some of the most underrated games ever IMO (looking at the critics scores). PMD Blue was my first DS game. ^^ Really hoping for another instalment on the 3DS.
