I'll hate to start over, and not be able to get my old pokemon from the 4th gen.
All that time wasted on catching 'em all!

You can transfer over pokemon from 4th gen games through a mini game like thing. You select 5(?) pokemon and then try to catch them. You need 2 DS's for this.

Yea just found out on Serebii. Good thing I didn't abandon my DS lite when I got my DSi.

Well this is faster then Trading them all, one-by-one.

As said, there is a mini-game that is like this game's Pal Park. Trading is not possible, however.

can't decide if i want to buy the new Pokemon game or not. My first Pokemon game was Pokemon Blue, but I was to little to remember much about them. My first "true" game was Pokemon Gold and where most of my of my memories are (and also with Pokemon Sapphire.)

Ever since the announcement of the Pokemon Black and White, I have been on the fence about it. So I wanted to ask this forum, to help me make my decision. To give you my perception about the game and to help me either buy the game or not, I made a Pro Con list.

Forget this. I personally think it's very similar to previous games. Game Freak says this game will be sort of a series reboot but I simply beg to differ. If you prefer it that way, you can't go wrong with Black and White!

It took us some time to get used to the Diamond and Pearl English names, too.

Sadly not, but the Dream World kind of replaces it. That won't be immediately available at launch, though.

Ah man. I liked leveling up my Pokemon by walking. Oh well then.

It's kinda a bummer, since they hyped the Pokewalker for the previous one ...
