I just had a brilliant idea. A Mawile evolution named Shrapnawl. A combination of Shrapnel and Gnaw. Great idea, huh? :)

It's confirmed that Pokemon Black and White will be compatible with Diamond, Pearl, Platinum, HeartGold and SoulSilver, although it's still unknown in which way.

I loved the PAL Park in D/P/P, so I hope they do something similar. Anyway, this is awesome news. I've so many EV trained Pokemon on my (950+ hours save file o_0) Pearl game, that they definitely must be part of the next generation.

Judging from the footage, it is just the environment that moves. The grid is still there though, they just play around here and there with the perspective. Other than that it looks pretty much the same as Diamond/Pearl/Platinum or HeartGold/SoulSilver.

I'm not really impressed yet.

I hate seeing the series milked like this. It seems we get a new game every year and it sells so well that they make more and more sequels with little to no upgrades other than the obvious graphical update, more Pokemon, and a few added online features. Personally it gets annoying.

Then don't buy it.

I really don't mind the slight improvements since D/P were already close to perfect IMO.

The chances of that happening are about equal to the chances of the upcoming Call of Duty being the last in the series. Sorry.

That's why I dislike the later games in the serie too. It's funny, I'm playing Soul Silver while my sister picked up Pokémon Yellow again. It pretty shocking to see that not much have changed between both games. Apart from the graphical update and more Pokémon and islands, it's basically the same game. And Yellow had Pikachu following you too and it even have Pikachu's voice. The new games doesn't have this which is really ridiculous in my view.

lots of series do that:
Halo
2D Marios
Megaman
Street Fighter
Madden
I dont see why everyone hates pokemon for this when dozens of other series do it too
