Having a Plants VS Zombies game would be nice, especially when the DSi is held book-style

That'd be awesome.

I think it will happen on DSi and Wii Ware because pointer and stylus controls would work very well in this style of game.

I would pay 5000 points for a game like that. I love PVZ!

DSiWare? No. WiiWare? Probably not.

Been a lot of iPhone to DSiWare apps of late. I really don't see why PopCap wouldn't release Plants vs. Zombies for the DSi. But it'll be six months later and 25% more costly, like all the other iPhone to DSiWare apps.

I really hope it will go to dsiware. It is a brilliant game which is perfectly suited to the ds

It's been announced as a 20$ retail game. I guess they decided it was time to cash in on the gullible DS owners by repackaging their 3$ iPhone game with a few extra features, worse graphics and at 7x the price. No thanks. Put it in the DSi Shop for 500 pts, then we'll talk.

PopCap are idiots, no one will buy a retail version of a so bad game for 20$, specially when tere are much better tower defense game in the DsiWare service and that you can have it in the ipod for almost nothing.

Man's worst enemy is laziness.

While I agree it shouldn't be priced so much higher than its iPhone counterpart, Plants VS. Zombies is awesome, and most certainly not a bad game.

Considering plenty of people have already bought the game for $20...enough to bump it up to best-seller status and justify myriad ports to all manner of gizmos and devices, I'm not entirely sure your logic is sound.

You know, that's probably it. A DS cart will work on the 3DS, too. This way don't have to re-package the game from DSiWare to 3DSWare in six months. They're not greedy, just lazy!

Nope. Too big for the DSiware

It's most likely more of a matter of memory required. Nintendo only allows games on DSiWare to be up to something like 20mb, whereas a DS cartridge is around 1gb. It's likely why the DSiWare version of Bookworm lacks features the DS cartridge version has.

Basically, I wouldn't blame Popcap entirely. They have shown to be very open to digital distribution.
