I was recently thinking, and what if Nintendo released both Picross DS and Picross 3D on one cartridge? Naturally it'd probably be a while before Nintendo releases this, (so that those who got Picross 3D wouldn't feel cheated out of anything) but would you consider purchasing this? They cold even put in the first 2 GameBoy Picross games as a bonus, perhaps with updated graphics or a color option.

Exactly.

I'm just saying, for those that don't have the original (or any Picross, for that matter) and want to try Picross (like me) but can't find a copy anywhere, this would probably be a good idea.

Admittedly it would be a good chance for Nintendo to educate new DS owners regarding Picross DS and the Touch Generations lineup in general, but I could also see the original Picross DS being broken up and served as download packs for the DSi Shop. If there's ever a game that deserves to be retooled for DSiWare in bite-sized pieces then this would be the game. Not to mention being given a chance to save all of the download packs to the internal memory rather than trying to remember which puzzles I have yet to download versus which ones I've completed already. Maybe I'll visit Gamefaqs so that I'll know which of the free downloadable packs from Nintendo are worth the cartridge space.

I purchased PicGrid for the iPod touch but it's not the same. The grids are no larger than 10x10 (I just checked). Lame...

I did not think of DSiWare packs. Picross Express? That's sounds interesting.

Exactly.
