Topic: Petit computer programing thread

hello people! this thread was opened so people could stop posting off-topic on programming questions. just ask stuff and other people will pitch in too! myself i'm a low level programmer. i wrote codebreaker bootloader it's in page 41 of the qr code sharing thread. i'm also working on petit chat v.2.0. i got questions too but heres the first one: how can i save a file so it will be saved using a prepended name specified by the user?? theres no as command... if there was i would wirte this:
save message$ as memname$
help!!!!
