This is odd, I discovered it when I would go to bed and I will be using it for a while. Light would shine red, I would turn it off and I put it down beside me and I've done it battery down and battery up. But the same thing happen when I put it battery side up, I would turn it on in the morning. The light would be blue.

to be honest, I've had it happen plenty of times where the light will turn red, i'll shut it off, i'll pick it up again later and it'll be blue for a few minutes before turning red again, as if it just needed a bit of rest. then again, i've had it happen plenty of times too where i shut it off when it's red, turn it on again later and it's still red. i think it's just the luck of the draw.

This is common in all batteries due to the nature of how batteries work but it's more apparent in batteries with higher drain loads (such as car batteries). The position of the battery doesn't really make a difference afaik.

LOL, I remember using a battery that wasn't dead but only worked for my radio.

We need to find some way to combat the waste of batteries.
