Dang, I thought they were going to go into battle alongside the samurai. Isn't the other series about recreating historical battles? I figured it was just going to be like that but supplemented by Pokemon. I envisioned something darker and more bizarre.
Still looks awesome though. I love SRPGs and Pokemon would be a great fit for the genre.

interesting. I love these things where they over anylize the pokemon plot. I've read quite a few. They are pretty interesting and i wonder if possibly they could connect the two. HIGHLY unlikely but it is possible i guess
EDIT: Second thought, They would probably never try to link them, because that "war" would have been WAY after this if they did, and it would complicate the other games story to much im guessing. Not to mention the fact that besides these random over anylysations made by fans, pokemon has no real plot.

If anything, this is likely to be the battle between the two brothers with Reshiram and Zekrom as told in Black and White
