I would be excited only I still have my GBA carts of Zero 1-4. Unless there's some insanely awesome bonus content on the collection. So is there?
There is some bonus content, such as an easy mode which also, for some reason, doubles as a "play through all 4 games back to back without interruption" mode. (I would have liked the latter, actually...but tacking it to the former feels like cheating.) It also has wallpapers to unlock, some collectibles, and cards that you collect to alter things about the games (mainly aesthetic, it seems like, though there are some "increase weapon power" settings to unlock).
I just finished Zero 1 (man was that final boss cheap...) so there may be more to unlock within the games. I'm really enjoying the experience so far, and it's worth a shot for anyone who hasn't played the games before...but if you already have them, I'd doubt it's worth re-buying.
If anyone out there has played further and unlocked more, by all means, bring it up.
There selling it, in Gamestop for just 12$ bucks used.
Is that true? o_O I looked on their site but it doesn't show the used price...

This game is great. I played a little bit of it as a kid, but I don't remember which one (I think it was the second one). I beat the first one yesterday, now I'm on to MMZ2. Since yesterday, I've played about one hour (I'd estimate 3 hours, but that doesn't count dying (sometimes I wish I chose easy scenario)).
SPOILERS
About the Chain rod from MMZ2, isn't it basically just the same thing as the triple rod from MMZ1?

No. The chain rod has many more uses than the Triple Rob. It lets you pull large objects, and it can be used to swing from certain areas a la Spider Man.
Just beat the first game on the easy senerio, but now I am going to try to play through the original ones instead. The easy senerio is just not as awesome. THIS GAME HARD, yet it incouraged me to change my avatar!

Finally, a local store received some copies! Playing it now and it's awesome! - But I have a question; if I fail a mission, will that mission be gone forever?
I have a Backloggery now! Nothin' fancy, but feel free to add me as a friend. [21:15] Axoloth joined the conversation [21:16] Axoloth: I love you, dead chat [21:17] dead chat runs away [21:17] dead chat has left the convers...
In MMZ1, yes, I believe so. Some missions are required, and force you to try again if you fail (example: The final mission doesn't disappear if you fail.) Usually, though, if you fail, it's best to reload the save.
In MMZ2, however, that's not true (at least as far as I can tell). You have to beat all the Missions in Z2, so far as i can gather.
I haven't played 3 or 4 yet, so I can't vouch for them.
Anyway. . . yeah, neat game =D

I replayed Zero 1 because...well, it was fun. And it was pretty cathartic to rage through the game a second time with all my energy tanks and Cyber Elves.
But I finally started playing Zero 2, and man is this one difficult. I only managed to beat the train boss because I sort of cheated (hugging the walls beneath him and striking whenever he landed near me), and barely managed to beat the snake guy. And that's several hours and god knows how many deaths into the game!
I was under the impression they got easier after Zero 1. Oops.

I thought Zero 2 was easier, but a lot of people seem to think Zero 2 was the hardest out of the bunch. Zero 3 and Zero 4 are definitely easier, though. Still, none of them are cake walks, remember that.
I think I am in the worst of situations. I am doing the final mission on MMZ1 with no back up lives. Any advice?
A) Everyman it. Its possible, it just requires more resetting until you memorize everything. B) Reset and start over. It's much faster the second time around. C) If you can find an area that you can keep going back to, or if you don't mind getting a low score, grind for more lives.

Agreed with C, but if you want to go the B route (also not a bad suggestion!), play up until the factory/bombs mission. There are two VERY easy one-ups to get. One of them is in the upper entrance to the factory, and the other...I forget. But it's easy. Get them both, die, do it again. I finished that level with 9 lives in reserve...not sure if that's the max or what, but it was plenty for the last level.
But regarding C: you can revisit old areas to pick up extra lives, or you can grind for energy chips (or whatever...) so that you can feed the Cyber Elves that become energy tanks. To be perfectly honest, the energy tanks were far more valuable to me in the final fight than an extra life would have been,
So yeah, you've got options. Good luck...and don't forget that you can save after each Neo Arcadia level!
I want it, but I cant find it anywhere . Will probably import it with DQIX.
I'm having the same problem, I checked both game stores in my locality just a few hours ago and neither had a copy, plus ebay seems to not have any that aren't international and neither does Amazon...bad times
I finally picked up my copy the other day when I traded in some games at Gamestop. Sadly, I don't have my DSi back from Nintendo (repair), so it's just sitting on my shelf...mocking me...teasing me...asking me to play it! haha. I am about to call my girlfriend and see if I can just borrow her DS Lite so I can get into the action.

Thanks so much you guys! Its really helping. Its mainly that first Boss I am stuck on now. Thanks again.
EDIT: I found a great place to find extra lives. If you enter the Neo Arcadia Shrine, then go to the part with the disapearing blocks that go away then comeback, you have to go up on the first set of those. Once you get to the top one on the far right side, there is a small ledge you can jump on, and in there, you can refil most of your life, get some power crystals, and a one up. It will be there everytime you go there, even once you beat the mission.
