Hey guys, I cant find the solution online so I hope maybe somebody on here does. So i bought this Nintendo ds lite last week, it came with a DSTT flash card, when ive started it up I noticed that the ds didnt show a start screen, it just loaded “nintendo ds” on the top screen and went straight to the cards menu. When i try to input an original game it wont work, the DS first says nintendo ds (top) white(bottom) and then both screens white, ive tried a hard reset, but that didnt work for me, i tried a different battery but that didnt work either, anybody knows what is going on? Thanks!

It could be that this is a result of a bad mod. These things can happen when a system is modified.

I'm not familiar with the dstt card however it may be, like the Wi,i that it's part of a recovery boot mode and you need to press power or some button to boot normally. It'll be worth trying somewhere familiar with the mod

There several things you can try:
This appears to be a soft reset but worth a try: https://www.wikihow.com/Reset-a-Nintendo-DS-Lite

This is form Nintendos support pages. It mentions the 2DS and up models but the DS is also mentioned several times as well so it might work.

This site says the memory format does not work on the DS but it has basic instructions:

I checked mine and I do not see a format option so you may have to try the battery reset.
Good luck

Also I just found that Nintendo says to hold the power button down for a minute at least, then press again to turn it on and this resets it. It also says you cannot return to previous version of software once it is updated.

The card may be defective and changed the bootrom. There are some Reddit threads on this you can search.
