Topic: New Mario game for DS in 2010?

Do you think there will be a new Mario game for the DS in 2010? A mario game has been released every year in the existance of the DS except for one year I think. Multiple games have been released in most years.

Nah, I doubt it, unless Nintendo surprises us yet again at good ol` E3.

I actually dont think its too far fetched. Paper Mario hasn't had an installment in years. The only thing is I doubt it will be on a handheld. Paper Mario has always been on consoles and Mario and Luigi on handhelds.

There were rumors last year of a Paper Mario Remake for the DS (I believe it was mentioned in a Japanese Magazine) s but nothing came of them Sadly.

I'd like to see it happen at some point even though the handhelds already have Mario & Luigi. Awesome mock Boxart though

There's something interesting to check out on YouTube. BowieZ has made up a storyline and composed music for a future "New Super Mario Bros. 2 (DS)". It's not official, but the music is pretty sweet, though.

Of course they make a Mario game each year for the DS. It's Mario for crying out loud

I'd imagine the next real Mario title will be for the DS2. I can't imagine Ninty would be working on any AAA games for the DS, seeing as based on what devs are saying, their games are going to be ready for it by the end of this year.

I'm sure they'll be a sweet Mario title revealed along with the DS2 at E3.

No offense, but because of that reply, someone could assume that maybe you are 7. It had been stated before that it was just music, and that it was fan made. You obviously didn't read any of the previous comments.
Anyways, regarding Super Paper Mario DS, YES. However, I'd prefer Paper Mario TTyd, or even better, a compilation of all three games!
