Topic: New Dsi Xl ???

I have the dsi xl and i had the dslite and the dsi they didnt make the dsi xl nothing diffrent except for the screen and 2 games they just should of just had made the dsi and then make the ds 3d ..??? or is that the way nintendo is just trying to get our money???? they should of done something big with the dsi xl ...

If you don't like all the consoles then don't buy them!

My thoughts on their marketing strategy.

DSi = Meant to test the waters to see what sort of demand there is for downloadable games on Nintendo handhelds and build up a library for the 3DS, so it doesn't launch with nothing.

DSiXL = Primarily aimed at older audience who may have eye issues and families who play together. This set is generally more "casual," and not likely to be early adopters. It is probably planned to have a sales lifespan well into the 3DS's.

3DS = The true next gen.
