Topic: Missing DSiWare Catalog!?

Sorry if this is a stupid question, but does anyone know if Nintendo removes titles from the DSiWare Shop? I live in NA and I tried to pick up Armada, the Flight Control clone, today and I can't find it anywhere. Anyone else notice it being gone from their shop or any other titles?

you're right, syko -- i just checked via title, i checked the list of 500-point games, i went back in the Newest Additions list until i'd well passed October, it's not listed under the 'strategy' genre, and Zoo Games isn't even on the available list of publishers.

I checked Zoo Games' website, but they've only got one mention of Armada -- a press release about it having been released for DSiWare -- with no actual page describing the game. Nintendo still has a page for Armada up, though... idk what happened for them to remove it (maybe it really was too similar to Flight Control?), but i just used Zoo's 'contact' page to ask, so we'll see if i get a response.

tbd didn't Nintendo remove that golf game that you reviewed due to the amount of bugginess? could be the same here.

i'm pretty sure i saw it still there while i was searching for Armada, Oregano... idk if they've bothered updating it with a fix or not, but good luck to those who decide to download it :/

Thanks for checking for me TBD. I just found it strange and was wondering if I was the only one experiencing that. I had no idea Nintendo removed DSiWare titles from their library. I'm disappointed because I like Flight Control and wanted to try Armada, but at least it wasn't Cave Story or Shantae, I would've been PO'd if I wouldn't be able to play either of those. There's a Sudoku game that I downloaded that doesn't seem to be there now. A few months ago I went looking for it to see how much I paid for it, and I couldn't find it. It wasn't a very good version anyway.

How odd... I'm interested to see how this situation develops.

This topic had me worried for a moment, because I purchased Armada (among other titles) and deleted it without transferring it to my SD card. It's still available for download on my US DSi though, so I guess as long as you already purchased the title there's nothing to worry about.

@GreenAbobo: huh, maybe that's why Oregano saw the golf game and i didn't, if they really did take it down from the Shop... hahaha, can anyone (who hasn't purchased it) confirm whether 101 Minigolf World has been taken down or not? :3

I just checked for you, and it's still there. But maybe that's because I have the ability to re-download it.

I have not downloaded 101 Minigolf World, but it does show up. Oddly, I was also able to find Armada with no difficulty (I have not downloaded it either).

Im not able to see Warioware Snapped, which is odd because it was the first game I downloaded(first game i deleted too ). Does anyone else have this problem?

I've contacted Zoo Games to see what they say. When I hear from them I'll let you guys know

Zoo Games tells me the game is now available in the Shop Channel and that, to their knowledge, it was never taken down. That said, they did receive some emails from it so perhaps it was a temporary outage. Either way, it should be up now
