Thank you for moving the hints/spoilers to another thread. I am about halfway through the game and really want to know what people think of it, but do not want to know how to solve all the puzzles. I think this is a really good game that will give you a challenge if you want it (i.e. using no hint coins) or a nice casual experience (i.e. spamming hint coins) provided you have an adequate place in which to play it. At this point, I would probably give it a 7 based upon the janky tech and the little to no replay value but I think it was worth five bucks.

So, has anyone else beaten the game? I completed it by late Monday night.

I found all of the images and letters.
I am however 5 coins short of purchasing all of the hints so think I am missing them.
As I found 3 more coins today finding what I was missing.

After playing it some more time, I can see that the camera function is not bad, at first its hard to play the game, but then you will see how simple the camera function is, thn you will start seeing letters and pictures and then you will found coins and buy all the hints, its a great game and what it make it mostly sooo great is the 3D thing, all is in 3D, sometimes I just want to see those scenarios again, the 3D efects are just awesome and it makes it a really great game, totally a must buy. Not like other hidden objects these one is about putting 2 or more thing of a scenario together or at least that you'l see them together and find a new picture, its about exploring all the 3D word of each stage. Sometimes in yor real life, you put things together to make other things, just turn yourselve and imagine the room your in like one of these 3D scenarios, see? maybe you can find some letters, pictures or anything else. The game is really great and the camera option its just not a big problem, it will be cool if you can unblock someting else with the coins than just hints , anyways the game is great, awesome 3D effects and its a must buy, sadly it doesn't have any reply value, but theres always a day in the one you want to see those cool 3D effects again...

First Impressions?
Bad. I couldn't get the camera to work well, and had to adjust it every few minutes.

Second Impressions?
This game is ingenious. The sheer feat of combining certain edges to form an object (or hole of an object) never ceases to entertain me. I had a much easier time with the camera, and had a lot of fun discovering the objects (you feel A LOT more satisfied if you don't use hints). I'm thoroughly enjoying this title, though I with the glare on my screens wasn't a problem when I tilted the system. That's my only complaint so far...

I'm working on a game that's coming out soon!

@BleachFan: I completed the game without using hints and I'm glad I did. I don't know if I would have thought it worth 500 points if I just bought a hint for every letter or picture.

Great game. I play in indirect sunlight or with a bright overhead light and the camera works just fine. Just get the red spots to appear on most of your face and you're good to go.

Also my only gripe is the game is too short. It's entertaining to find all the letters and pictures.

So when are they gonna release it in EU? Seems like the rest of the world has already played it and beaten it and we still don't have it. Grrrrrrr

@irken004: you can play it in the dark? I find it impossible in anything but daylight or a brightly lit room, possibly a limitation of my DSi LL cameras?

It could be, try it out in a dark room sometime and experiment with it.

I did. Light I could read by wasn't good enough; it wouldn't calibrate successfully. Could be they improved some code for the NA release?

Hmm... maybe. Once the EU version is released, someone should do a comparison!

I got this game for my little sibling but ended up playing it myself. I have noticed many sites disliking the game for the wonky cam but I have never encountered any problems with this game, it works well for me. I guess my lighting conditions are good. The visuals in the game are just great, simple yet solid looking backgrounds the seem to come to life, and making them move using the camera is a treat. The music sets the game's mood right, from enchanting to jolly, and they are all pleasing. And most importantly, I love how unique it is for you to find the hidden objects. Overall, the presentation to this game is well crafted. But sadly the content wears a little bit thin. There are 48 objects and 13 letters scattered around 13 levels which are located in two worlds. You can finish and complete this game in two days or maybe one if you're persistent enough. after you find everything, you unlock a bonus game and all the story summaries but nothing else, making the replay value low. That aside, this game is still good if it is set in a good condition, but even if you do make the game work perfectly, it still has it's downsides. This is a good and innovative experiment by nintendo, and maybe a taste of how 3D gaming on portable would work 3DS . Overall, even if the Looksley's line up won't be one of the top tier games on the service, it's still a pleasing experience only marred down by it's short length. Get this game if you want something unique and if you have good lighting conditions.

Whoops, I didn't see your second question when I read your original post. Now I'm not sure if you mean the tin man in the AGAIN level? Or one of the two in the TRY bottom beanstalk level? I'll post them all in the spoilers topic at:
https://www.nintendolife.com/forums/dsiware/spoiler_looksleys_...

If you're really stuck, I can make pictures of them too.

Guy with cape - Tilt right screen most of the way to the right, and you'll see him in brown to the right of the beanstalk.

Camera batteries are dead so can't take a picture of it; but the wall on the right has clouds, then black, then a green outline, then a brown base. He's in the brown base, surrounded by greens. Shape of the cloth in his hand is unique so look for it. Feet start at the bottom of the beanstalk, and his head ends at the height of the house roof. All the best!
