Hello friends. I've been following these forums and website for ages, yet only today I've registered. So, this is my first topic here!
I was wondering if you could help me with something....
I'm looking for new games for my DS, yet I'm looking for something that I don't know if it exists, since there are so many hundreds of DS games out there! I'm putting in topics what I'm looking for to make things easier for everyone:
Game 1: something like Death Rally. Yeah, that wicked racing game where we had races against other opponents and race-by-race we were getting money in order to 'pimp' the car with guns, shields, etc. Is there any game like this for the DS?
Game 2: I don't remember the name, but a long time ago for the Sega Mega Drive, there was a motorcycle racing game that was pretty neat. Again, we had races against other opponents and the money we won was used to buy parts for the bikes, like better engines, exhausts, tires, etc. Is there anything like this for the DS?
Game 3: motorcycle racing games. But, not arcade. I've tried Moto Racer which is OK, but it's totally arcade. Are there any other good motorcycle racing games for the DS?
Yeah... these are the games I'm looking for. The the actual games, since I know that they don't exist for the DS, but something similar. They're pretty much the same concept: race against opponents, win money, buy parts&accessories, race again, etc. You know the drill.
I would be eternally thankful if you could help me with this!

Game 2: I think you mean the Sega Mega Drive game was Super Hang-On. I don't know any DS games like that.

I've tried Need for Speed, yet it's a bit boring. I don't know... I was looking for something like Death Rally. I really dig that touch of 'micro machines' cars. Simple. Basic. Yet totally addictive.
You nailed the Mega Drive game. It is Super Hang-On! I would never remember this!!! I've spent dozens of hours playing that game back in the day! If there is something like this for the DS that would be P-E-R-F-E-C-T!
@modular I love combat racing games. There aren't enough of them. Just FYI, Death Rally has been re-released for free by Remedy. They rock. There aren't any DS games like that however.
There aren't any DS games like any of the ones you mentioned, AFAIK. :/
