Hello Chris, Thanks for the kind words, but afraid it's not by choice on us not bringing over Retro Game Challenge 2 at this point when we're certain to lose money on it. No company can continue to exist if they take on projects they know they're going to lose money on, so as much as all of us here love the series and would like nothing more than to work on the sequel, afraid it's not going to happen anytime soon.
This is the letter I sent them:
I have recently read several web sites that have stated that the >localization of Retro Game Challenge 2 will possible not be brought to >America or even translated into English. I really hope that you will >reconsider this. The first game is based on 8 bit gaming and with Retro >Game Challenge 2 being based on 16 bit gaming. The upgrade to 16 bit >graphics will have a bigger appeal to gamers and the 15 games included is a >much higher selling point also. Retro Game Challenge is one the most >impressive games in my extensive DS line-up and I would very much be able >to have the sequel as well. I am very shocked at how many gamers are so >upset at the hearing of the possibility of not getting a localization of >Retro Game Challenge 2 and I hope that it is enough for you to reconsider >bringing the game to English gamers around the world. This game is just to >great to not be allowed for gamers all over the world to be able to play. >Retro Game Challenge does have a big audience and one that I think will >continue to grow as well as the demand for the sequel. Thanks so much for >bringing Retro Game Challenge to us. It's an absolute blast to play, and >has a feeling of pure video game entertainment that I haven't felt from a >game in a long time. Thanks so much for giving me and the many gamers that >have experienced this great game the chance to play it. I do hope that you >will continue considering bringing Retro Game Challenge 2 to us gamers one >day as well. > > Thanks again,

This is sad news but very understandable. I hope the same doesn't happen to the Starfy series outside of Japan too. I figured some people on this site would be interested to see this so I posted it.

I'm sure some people were interested, but the title was pretty niche and I'm not sure it sold that well. It never hurts to petition a company for a release, but unless there is a large call for it I doubt it'll happen

Oh yeah but heck it was worth the try at least. I think it actually sold decently but if they cant make money on it its just not worth it. Its a Awesome game that so many missed out on.
