cheap Ca$h in games made by bad 3rd Parties

I haven't played all that many, but I found Puzzle Quest 2 to be quite boring. I spent a while with it and have tried to like it, but just couldn't really get into it.

Maybe I'll try again one day down the track!

I highly disagree with the people saying TWEWY and Yoshi's island DS. I thought that the battle system of TWEWY was innovative and very enjoyable. I also thought Yoshi's island DS was a good game even if it wasn't as good as the original. Also, some of the world 5 and secret levels were brutal. There was one secret level called "A light in the dark" and I went into it with over 70 lives and lost them all. As hard as the main section in the ship was, it was the snowboarding section that made me lose all those lives.

Anyway, my least favourite DS games are:
Pirates of the carribean 2: Dead man's chest- I got this for my birthday a few years ago from a friend and its not quite as bad as most movie tie-ins but its still a bad game, especially the way that the save system wouldn't work.

Infinite space- This is easily my least favourite rpg. It tries hard yet fails to explain the mechanics of the game, has terrible learning and difficulty curves and I got to a point where the only way to progress was to start the whole game over again. This was because I accepted a mission where you would get into a hard regular battle before a boss fight. After trying many times, I realised that I either needed to be a higher level and/or get better ship parts but I couldn't. This was impossible because after accepting the mission the only areas you have access to are ones you need to go to for the mission and the planet that you go to accept the mission and I had saved after accepting the mission but before doing it so I couldn't progress any further.

Spectrobes... god knows how much that game sucks. The maps are so huge with nothing around, making your character look like he is walking in empty deserts (even if he is in a town), you can control a character and he can atack but he does next to no damage... god I never tried the sequel but the Wii game with the same name played and looked a lot better.

The Golden Compass... God Lord the frame rate was HORRID!!!!!

Diddy Kong Racing DS - Mario Kart DS was better. This game had some unfair boss fights and lousy voice acting (Taj is Indian, not British!).

Mario Hoops 3-on-3 - Way too hard for my liking. Mario Sports Mix had better basketball.

Scribblenauts - Not a bad game, but Super Scribblenauts is a goldmine compared to the original.

Innovative is one thing, but TWEWY was just confusing as hell.

Yoshi Touch and Go: Bored me to death.

Nicktoons Unite: It's a Nick game what do you expect?

Hmm. These are the worst in my collection; boulder dash rocks, naruto ninja council, ping pals and red bull BC one. These were some of my first ds games now I play the likes of DQ9, Pokemon, Phantom Hourglass, WWDIY and so on...

• Scribblenauts: Almost every puzzle you could solve with the words 'rope', 'wings' and 'gun/bazooka' and aside from that: The controls...
• Wario Ware: Do It Yourself: Touched was a good game, but this 'builder' didn't do the job. You had way too less options to create, so you needed to create very weird combinations to make it happen. (or it just wouldn't work)

TWEWY is an awesome game, I've played a lot of it... I couldn't get enough of it. It's a hard, but fun RPG with great story.

TWEWY- I don't care how well it was reviewed. Nobody can change the fact that I hate that game, poor battle system, more button mashing than anything, and the whole story is just stupid.

The worst for me hands down goes to Mario Party DS

The actual mini games weren't too special and seemed pretty generic actually....And the typical board game 'based on luck' stragety was extremely grating. I've never been a big fan of Mario Party to begin with, but this was easily the weakest entry in the franchise for me.

Brain Age 2 bored me to Takooni tears. Sure the original was pretty unique and fun at the time, but taking a trip down to Brain Age ville in this sequal 3 years later didn't do anything for me. I've over these types of casualised none gaming experiences, they were fresh in the beginning(Then again i hated Brain Academy), but not even close anymore.

Planet Puzzle League, The Legendary Starfy, Kirby Squeak Squad and Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time.

I wouldn't go so far as to call any of them bad games, but I found them all to be various degrees of boring and disappointing.

Man, i though The Legendary Starfy totaly rocked with it's beautiful whimisical and colorful fun presentation, the graphics were just shimmering with beauty, I really enjoyed the quirky characters & dialogue/cutscenes, plus the soundtrack perfectly captured that aquatic wonderous world of it all as well.

But good lord this was basically another unchallenging platformer in the same league as Kirby's Epic Yarn, and it completely put me off at times. The boss battles were so laughably easy it was riDUCKulous. I'm still holding onto it for the positive reasons i mentioned above, but dude.....The difficulty was Grade A KindergardenVille. But, finding the treasure however can be pretty difficult at times that's for sure, so it's always got that going for it if you crave a challenge, because you're not gonna find it anywhere else in this bright and happy aquatic romp.

Since this thread has turned into "Most Overrated DS Games" I'll weigh in with The World Ends With You. Not a bad game, but way too monotonous for me. I felt like I was repeating the same 3 or 4 mission varieties over and over just to advance a completely absurd plot about hip teenagers. Lame.

I remember the final boss. I can deal with multi-part boss fights but when it got the "mash the Y Button segment". I just yelled Y-Y-Y-Y-Y (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gugbMw4LigY) and quit.

Any games with the words "Imagine", "Petz", "Party", "Horses", "Barbie", "Girls", "Babiez", "(something) Mama", in their titles. This covers almost all of Ubisoft's DS and Wii games. They are the shovelware kings.

C'mon I like Mario Party DS.
