I've checked 2 Best Buys, 3 Gamestops, a Toys R' Us, a Walmart, and a Target, and NONE of them have Kirby Mass Attack. When I asked the Gamestop employees about it they looked in their computers as if expecting to see it available for preorder and all seemed confused when the preorder option wasn't there anymore. The last Gamestop I visited told me the game is probably in shipment and the second Gamestop I visited said they will get it by Sunday. I don't know who to believe anymore.

Sorry to hear that man. The Gamestop where I live got the game in today as planned. I find it odd that some could get the game today and others get it as late as Sunday o_O Anyway, I've only played like 4 levels and a few minigames so far but I'm really loving this game a lot! There just appears to be....so much of it. The level of presentation and polish here is absolutely remarkable and unmistakably Nintendo. I can see a very powerful addiction starting with this game!

I played it for the for the first time last night and I actually got better used to the touch-screen controls than I thought. Originally I was a little put-off by those kinds of controls, but it's not bad now. As expected, the mini-game that I played was cool, and I'll definitely be collecting medals in every level I go to, maybe even back-track into past ones to get ones I missed.

And I have that theme song stuck in my head too! Hum-hum-hahum-hahum-hahum-hahum!

Yeah, there are more. By first boss do you mean that fat bird thing? Mass Attack seems to be split into world areas kind of like a Mario game. I've just started playing it myself. I'll write a review in a few days. This may very well be the best Kirby game ever created. I swear when the Kirbys change levels on the world map, they sound like Pikmin. IT'S. TOO. CUTE. And the music is now stuck in my head for all of eternity.

I'm pretty sure Whispy Woods hasn't been a legit boss in an original Kirby game since 64 though. :(

(but seriously, the commericial has him, it's not a surprise if the commericial begins with it)

...he wasn't in Squeak Squad...

I'm fairly certain of this as half of my time playing that game was in boss rush mode. It was Dedede, mole that's a clever reference to KATAM being a mirror universe, Mecha-Kracko, giant robot, Fire Owl Tanooki, Daroche, Metaknight, Dark Daroche, Dark Zero.

Im surprised with the difficulty on this game! Kirby games are usually really easy but this one is hard! Well, to get all the stuff at least. You have to get like 5 medals and a gold star in every single stage, and theres the mini games too! That gives it a lot more replay value. If your unsure about getting this one, get it! Its amazing

I swear he's in Squeak Squad. Or was it Super Star Ultra? Which still counts. I'm clueless :P

In Amazing Mirror there's a boss that LOOKS like Wispy I believe...not sure exactly, never played the game, lol. I just remember hearing that there's a boss that resembles Wispy.
Yup, found him on GameFaqs, lol.

I love Kirby Brawl Ball! It's very fun!

Spoilers I unlocked the boss-rush mode of Kirby's Brawl Ball after defeating Whispy Woods, Lololo and Lalala, Heavy Lobster, and Marx. The last one was a real surprise! end of spoilers

Mmkay, I'm back after beating the main game and giving each of the minigames a go.

ahem

Previously, my favorite Kirby game was Super Star Ultra for the DS, because it took everything I loved about the original and enhanced it and made it endlessly replayable. Currently, however, Kirby Mass Attack still deserves a very large spotlight as one of the single-greatest and well-made DS games of all time. The music is very catchy and fits in every place, the main game feels like a Kirby game and is literally so fun I had to play through it twice (still haven't gotten EVERYTHING, because that's where the challenge comes in), and the minigames add so much replayablity I can barely find any flaws. The graphics are GORGEOUS for such a late DS title, and I urge anyone who plays to stop and take a look at the background or the very well-animated sprites every once in a while. I've never had a moment where I got mad or even broke my smile, it was continuous the WHOLE TIME.
And so, I offer you 10 reasons why Kirby Mass Attack is a great game:

1. It's a Kirby game, therefore a standard of high quality is already assumed from recent previous outings (in my opinion).
2. It is touch-screen controlled and plays very well.
3. It's VERY accessible to younger gamers while still having the depth/replay value for those looking to delve into it.
4. The music is very catchy (hum that theme song because I KNOW you know it :P )
5. The level design is one of the best in the series.
6. It's the best-looking Kirby game on the DS.
7. KIRBY.IS.ADORABLE. (sorry about this one, I can't help it. Even a grown man like Corbie can admit to this one)
8. The minigames are not only a very well-produced addition, but also extremely addicting and fun.
9. It's pretty much Canvas Curse + Pikmin (just a simple analogy, not literally obviously)
10. YOU CAN CONTROL 10 KIRBY'S AT ONCE. THAT IS IMMENSELY SATISFYING.

And so there you have it. Straight 10/10 from me. Any minor flaws are COMPLETELY debunked by being such a well-made game that I can enjoy every little detail about it.

Short review, but there ya go, that's all I needed to say :)
