This is one of my favorite games on the DS. As for how long it is, it depends on how much you feel like doing (or how bored you are). I have over 24 hours on my copy.
Does anyone have it? I read reviews and it sounds good, but I was hoping to hear from someone who has it? Is it a long game?
I had the game. (It's lost somewhere in my home....) But depending if you're gonna go unlock everything after beating the story. (I beat it with all 5 playable characters: Kirby, Dedede, Meta Knight, Waddle Dee & Waddle Doo) I almost had everything unlocked, just the last option in the medal unlockables.
It's a great game, and one of DS's great titles.
The commercial followed me everywhere so I just got it and I felt so good because I saw Canvas Curse next to NFS: Underground 2 and I was leaning to NFS... (Bad thing to do...)
I will find the game and properly finish it. Soon. Try getting it at your local GameSpot, everyone always trade it in since it is kinda ancient, the commercial was one of the DS's first on TV.
Seriously, I don't mind if Nintendo re-releases this for DSiWare with episodic content(like Shantae) and a lil' extra levels or unlockables (hopefully.)
Ya i have Kriby canvas curse and its absolutly great, just dont expect an average kirby game though, becuase its not.
I think I'm the only person here who did not like that game, and I couldn't put my finger on exactly why until i read this -- i wanted an average Kirby game, and Canvas Curse was too different for me to enjoy it at all. :3
BEST THREAD EVER future of NL >:3

You're not alone. I think Kirby Canvas Curse is bad and highly overrated, too. What killed it for me? Kirby being controlled by a stylus. I wouldn't have minded this type of control, if the Paint powerups weren't so limited and timed!!
Okay, maybe timed isn't the best word. There's a gauge, which is where the paint comes from. The gauge, is not permanent. When you use up all that paint, you have to wait until it slowly fills back up. I'm usually a patient gamer, but this game tests it to a certain extent. If you find yourself running out of paint on top of spikes, that's not a pretty picture (and it's happened, a lot!). That's just my opinion.
No, the game is not timed at all. And it's probably for the best. I guess I don't highly regard Kirby Canvas Curse as much as the others because I'm not a fan of the stylus. The exceptions being Yoshi Touch & Go, Kirby Squeak Squad, Kirby Super Star, and The Legendary Starfy. But that's because the stylus was not used to a certain extent. It was only used at certain moments. And I'm sorry if I drove you away from the game.
It's called Power Paintbrush here in the UK. I think it's one of the best Kirby games I've played. Very original and actually presented a challenge. (I'm still trying to get all the hidden coins). The only thing I would mark it down for would be a lack of boss battles. There's only one at the end, although it is pretty great. Oh and the paint fills up immediately once you land on a platform. It makes you try to be a bit more strategic with how you use it.
I guess I should've been more strategic and patient with Canvas Curse. I thought it was okay at first, but then I lost interest in it. I should probably try it again with an open mind. And you do make a point, outrunner. It is because of this challenge that makes KCC the hardest Kirby game ever made.
