Topic: Importing Korean games

I'm learning Korean and I could use some Korean games to play on my 3ds to practice my language skills. I know 3ds games are region-locked (I have a European one), but I was thinking about Animal Crossing Wild Wold. Does anyone know if I can buy that game in Korean online? I can't find it, so probably not. But is there any other game that is good for practice? Thanks!

Well sometimes you could set the language to korean if it is on there but if you have a original ds or ds lite they are region free so you could play it on there.

@Chxrmander: As far as I know, there IS a Korean version of Wild World. (There are also a handful of Korean original games, such as a version of Gostop with a story mode). There are other games too, but I don't know if there is a language trainer game. I've had luck searching for these games on eBay, but otherwise some import sites very occasionally sell them.

Good luck!

I think you can select Korean in Pokémon X/Y/OR/AS but you can't change language unless you start a new save.

It's its, not it's.

I know Chinese DS games are locked out due to using a BIOS font too big to include in other regions, but I don't think Korean is locked out.
You have to recognize DS from DSi-enhanced games. The latter only will be region-locked on DSi and 3DS (but would still play without DSi content on original DS or DSLite). It's only really games from 2008 and later you have to worry about. ACWW is from 2005 so you'd be fine. (aside from knowing games, the only other way to tell is to see the product code on the game label. Games with codes starting with NTR- are DS and those starting with TWL- are DSi)
