IGN has already gotten hands-on time with Super Scribblenauts. They confirmed that Maxwell is controlled with the dpad and will jump with B.

They also stated that the use of adjectives is awesome. They show pictures of a ghostly baby, a colossal baby, a stoned baby, a holy baby, a spotted baby, and a frozen baby. They also have made an undead car, an angry car, and a pregnant car.

Tries but ultimately fails to avoid getting caught in the hype AGAIN

The controls and adjectives sound nice, but they didn't say anything about fixing the inconsistent physics, so I'm a bit concerned. I also haven't heard anything about revamping the scoring system, which to me didn't inspire the most creative solutions. We'll see.

I loved the first game despite it's flaws. So I am super mega ultra primo stellar inasanely geeked about this game.

Wasn't impressed by the first, too easy and got a bit redundant. Unless this is much more fun, I will not be interested.

"The game physics have been addressed, too. Objects have more weight, so you won't accidentally knock everything over when you move Maxwell onto a stack of carefully arranged items, and you can now attach glue or ropes to any part of an object or the environment, instead of just at fixed points. ... The par system (beating levels using a limited number of objects) has been removed sine the developers thought it hurt players' creativity, but they've added a lot more merits--awards for completing miscellaneous in-game tasks."

From All the Write Moves, the world-reveal article of Super Scribblenauts (back when it was still untitled) by Chris Hoffman in the April '10 issue of Nintendo Power.

And there's a lot more improvements where that came from wario, if you're interested.

Agreed on both accounts. I would much prefer it a car had a slightly heavier weight than a pillow.

@Odnetnin

Ah, thanks, I'm much more optimistic now.
