It would be awsome if you could save a ds game on the sd card!!!

Do you mean like you can on a wii, where you can load up the actual game into the temporary memory, or do you mean the ability to put save files straight onto the SD card?

Only one of those prospects sounds truly awesome, and it's the first one, although personally my DSi is nowhere near full capacity - making it fairly useful at least.

An entire DS game? Sony's idea is much more practical (and beneficial to them).

Eh? Sony uses Memory Sticks and those load PSP/PS1 games off of them. You can keep a few good ones on a 4 GB stick, even though PSP games can be about 10-15 times bigger than DS games (DS' biggest Pokemon Platinum is 128 MB, PSP's Crisis Core is 1.5 GB). A 4 GB SD Card alone for the DS could keep a good 50 games in varying sizes at the most (just my estimation) so consider that DS supports 32 GB SD cards as well. Technically, you could probably store most of the DS library onto there.
The bigger question though, will Nintendo do it? I highly doubt it. But pirates might.

Oh, that makes much more sense then. Not much point of doing it on a DSi then, what with its 256 MB.
