I have some great puzzle games I'd like to play through again, but can't keep track of where I am in the game because I've solved all the puzzles already. There are no options in the games themselves (Link & Launch, Zengage, Robot Rescue), so I'm wondering if there's a hotkey combo or something. Or do I have to copy the data to an SD card, delete it from system memory, then copy back?
Kind of weird ... every gameboy, advance, or DS cart game I have has options for deleting user data. 3 of 3 DSiWare games I own don't seem to have the option.
Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but unlike WiiWare and other services, DSiWare games have savedata built right into them or something along those lines. If you delete the game and redownload it, your save data should bite the dust as well. Should you want to back up your old save game, copy the entire (old) game onto an SD card, delete from menu, then download again. Kind of an odd arrangement but hey.
Yep, you can redownload any game you've already purchased before, so long as you're using the same DSi you bought the games off (no transferring between consoles without having Nintendo themselves fiddle with it, sadly). Enjoy your new-old games.
