Hi everybody, and Happy new year to you all.
Ive had my 3ds now for around 2 months or so and im going through purchasing some of the ds back catalogue, what DS games are hard to get these days or rare? i hear Meteos, Dementium, Electroplankton, Retro Game Challenge are such games.

Retro Game Challenge is hard to find? Dangit, I was looking kinda into that.

One I can recall off the top of my head is Tetris DS. Not the later Tetris Party Deluxe for DS, but the earlier version that features a lot of old-school Nintendo game themes. It's out of print, and it's been pretty hard sought out. But if you're not looking at the rather interesting game modes (I have yet to hear of a Tetris game with similar non-Marathon modes), you might be better off with the aforementioned Tetris Party Deluxe or Tetris Axis for the 3DS.

Just about everything is easier if you check online; Amazon still has most games (Electroplankton and Tetris DS are notable exceptions to this rule, and I'm certain there are others). However, if you're sticking to stores, good luck finding:

Shin Megami Tensei: Devil Survivor (you owe it to yourself--it's amazing; Overclocked is essentially the same game, and while the voice acting and 3D don't add much--truthfully, the voice acting is a travesty, and the 3D is sparse and gimmicky--the extra chapter is a nice touch)
Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey (another personal favorite--and no remake for this one)
Luminous Arc
Etrian Odyssey I and II (maybe III; haven't checked)
Super Princess Peach
Yoshi's Island DS
Trace Memory (it's quite short, but at a reduced price, that's not too great a problem)
Lost in Blue (particularly the first one)
The World Ends With You (again, amazing--and pops up slightly more commonly than the others)

There are others, of course, but that's a pretty good list to start with.

Game and Watch Collection. Now that's hard to find! Luckily I have both G&W 1 & 2.

You can get those from Club Nintendo for 800 coins I believe.

i was looking at getting the game and watch vol 1, ive got 6250 stars (coins) whichever way you look at it burning a hole in my club nintendo account, is it any good though or just a collectable really?

actually its a huge 5000 coins! ;( or stars as it is in europe

thank you, ive been searching ebay for some of the games you have mentioned, most you can get easily from HONG KONG stores, i suspect these will be fake right?

Be careful, there are a lot of counterfeit Tetris DS out there, especially on eBay.

yeah unfort i would have no way of knowing if it was or wasnt a fake before purchasing, and how do you know if fake?

Only ones I know of are Super Princess Peach and Yoshi's Island 2... They were like 40 bucks used at GameStop....
