This game looks like it's going to be great! I will definitely be getting it but I won't be getting it at GameStop. They have it priced for $34.99 while every other retailer is going to be selling it for $29.99.
Yay, moar hype! I've been playing so many RPGs lately. I've almost beat the first Final Fantasy on my GBA, and I beat Nostalgia and Bowers's Inside Story recently. I still have to beat the two Golden Sun games I own. I've also been playing Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals and FF4-6 on an SNES emulator (all of which need to be released on the VC pronto!). Ahhh, RPG overload!
It's an okay game. Gets repetitive about 10 hours in, towns are boring, world map is pure suckage. The battle system is pretty awesome though - it's just a shame that the rest of the game is so shabby. Overall the game feels like it's about halfway finished.
Like some others have said, $15 is tempting, but DQ9 seems to take the cake. Not only that, I am only about 4 badges in on Pokemon SS...I may have RPG overload if I get Glory of Heracles as well. If I end up getting a copy of GoH, it would probably take a backseat to my other games, at the moment. A question for those who have played the game...how is the difficulty?

Its really easy. During random battles I usually just set all the characters on auto until they need to heal or something. The screen flashes red when you go up against a really hard random encounter, and you are allowed to heal/change equipment before a boss battle starts.
The game will also indicate whether a spell will be supereffective or not very effective, and you get spells and skills that change the elemental affinity of a row of enemies and double magic damage.
Yeah, I ended up picking it up, because $15 sounded like a good deal. The start was really slow, but it seems okay. Since I am not usually a big RPG guy, playing all these beginner RPG's has been a good thing for me. It is slowly turning my view on the genre, and I have become much more patient; never thought I would be playing 4 RPG's at once!
