It doesn't even have to be for points. Just as a reward. Why not? If you bypass the cartridge aren't you saving money? It might also be cheaper for the fans

Ooooh... I got the mail Saturday and nothing. I got the mail on Sunday, oh wait USPS doesn't deliver that day. Today, I opened the mailbox and there it was- the package box key. I opened the package box and a got a package. It was addressed to me, from NoA in Redmond, Washington. I opened and I played Donkey Kong for a few hours, not kidding. Anyway, my score for Game A is 1,222. What's yours?

I owned the original Game & Watch games for these three, so it's a nice nostalgic trip for me. But they're very simple and basic. I'm not sure how highly I'd recommend the game to someone who was not a fan of the Game & Watches. In truth, there's not a whole lot of other stuff to choose from anyway. I just got mine in the other day.

So, say there's this kid. He has 830 coins in his Club Nintendo account. He doesn't know what to redeem. What would you say to this kid? Btw, I'm just wondering. I have no particular reason for asking you this. Whistles.

I'd say people that aren't familiar with the G&Ws might find this title very silly and overly simplistic. I'd be wary of recommending it, especially since they only included 3 Game & Watch titles.

Do you think there will ever be a wiiware or dsiware Game & watch release? Or will it remain Nintendo Club only?

I doubt they'll release this one any other way since that's what makes it collectible in Nintendo Club. I just ordered the Tingle Balloon Fight from Japan. I can't wait to see how it is.

Please post your impressions, C Dog! I absolutely adore Balloon Fight. The normal Joust mode is fun enough, but the Trip mode is perhaps better. Sometimes when I'm real lazy or just want an extra challenge, I let the screen scroll at the start until my guy is right at the edge of the screen and try playing the whole game with just the 2 button. I've thought about importing Tingle's Balloon Fight many a time but wasn't really sure how it was different from the original.

@ Odnentin
Depends what's this kid's cough*Odentin*cough.

If your-
0-10 No! And you are a gamer who knows nothing about a real game!
11-21 Depends. Try a PC Sim of one. If you like it yes.
21-25 Depends. Are you a retro gamer at all? Or do you only play Halo 3 of the Xbox 360
25-40 If you have nostalgia, yes!
41+ Man, your old, just kidding. I wouldn't.

I will add more later, right now I gotta go.

Thanks Corbie. That kid has never played any of the Game & Watch titles. I'll be sure to tell him not to redeem it.
P.S. Sorry to be such a bother, but that kid keeps nagging me! He wants to know what you think the best item currently available in the U.S. is. He says it's okay if you don't have the others; he just wants your opinion.
P.P.S. He was considering getting a stylus set but decided against it as DS Lite styli would be of little use to him.

Thanks. On behalf of the kid of course. Anyway, this kid is between 11 and 21. He's finally made up his mind about not getting it. He's open to any suggestions of what to get, though.

Of course. Personally, I got out of curiosity. I and enjoyed it, which means Donkey Kong.

I would wait for the next wave of stuff.

I got it from Japan some time ago on eBay. It's fun until you see all the game has to offer, which isn't much. And the option menu is text heavy.

Who Are You?

Adam

Please elaborate Cheezy! Have you played the original? What does this version have to offer?

@ 33. Cheezy
Yes, please tell us about it. Tingle Balloon Fight was originally a platinum prize in Japan. It may come.
