it's also a high-score thing (and yes, later stages should be harder, especially if you try to find all stars).
You see, the levels looks simple, but there are just so many ways to complete them. It's just fun to play around with the powerups and see if you can solve it in different ways.
I'm on strike from buying anything until Tetris Party Live comes out. I want to get that, and if there's even the smallest chance that it will cost 800, I want to have enough points to buy it the moment it comes out.
That said, there's so many games out that I want to get (This and Dark Void Zero, just off the top of my head), Plus about 10 200 point games I want, that it's getting harder and harder to hold onto my points!
I'll wait for the review until I make my decision if Flipper should be above some of the others on my wishlist.

I just downloaded it, and although I haven't played it yet, it sounds like the best concept on the DS since Scribblenauts. I also love how more developers who genuinely seem to want our feedback and improve their products are on this site!
bboy - 59 blocks, the same as Flight Control, Chronos Twins and precipice.
Anyway, I just started playing it and I love it. There's definetly a thinking element to this game and I love it. The touch controls resemble Scribblenauts's controls in 3D, so while they are a little spotty it's not unberable. It's definetly an amibitious game and I think that for those who download it they're gonna really like it.

Thanks. I'm very much on the fence about this one. I don't want to make a mistake after 3 great purchases from today's line-up. Someone convince me, please!

Dude... Tetris isn't out 'til June. I won't be getting it until Wednesday, that is, if I decide to get it.
I made it to lvl 2-4, overall a decent game. The visuals are bright and pretty, though I wish the camera could have more precision (it rotates at 45 degree angles) The power-ups can be tricky to use at first, you should position the camera properly before you tap an area to use the item on. The opening cut-scene is short, but quite cute! The control of the main character is done in a point'n click style way, which is both bad and good. I would have preferred the D-pad for movement, but this works fairly well. Surprisingly, I made it to level 2-4 in about 20 minutes, without looking for Stars. Since there are 5 worlds, this game is slightly short, but the game is quite addictive. The manual for the game is VERY nice! Bright and colorful unlike other games who have boring white manuals.
It's not coming out 'till JUNE? D: Where'd you hear that? If it's really that far off. . . I guess I'll spend my points, since I'll have more by then. . .
This game is very interesting and I think it's worth the 500 points. I like the fact that there is more than one way to solve a level and also interesting to try to find all of the stars. This is one that I am glad that I got, unlike Flight Control which was a bit overpriced for what you get.
If you don't try to get the stars, you can zoom through the stages pretty quickly. Another thing is that every stage DOES have a maximum point amount for each stage because your score is calculated on enemies killed and items remaining, so score attack won't last forever.
I'm going to try to get the stars and unlock the bonus stages once I've unlocked all the worlds.
I'm having a great time with it (congratulations on your first release, Hugo). Currently I'm on the robot stages, and I'm finding quite a variety of unique ways to solve some of these levels.
The only criticisms I would offer are that the camera only moves by 45 degree increments; I believe the 3D effect of the stages would be much improved if an engine could be built which would rotate in real time. That would help with my other minor criticism, which is that the blown-up parts of the stage are a little hard to see (just slightly different shades of dark brown to denote the surface angle), which I've gotten used to by simply checking from a couple camera angles, but it could be a bit clearer.
I'd also like to see this concept and engine used for a larger project or a sequel one day, and some of the minor problems could be corrected at that point. However, for $5, this is a solid and unique DSiWare purchase.
EDIT: I wish there were a way to see the maximum achievable score per stage, so that I'd know if there were an even more clever solution that I'm missing. Perhaps we can just post some of our high scores here after a while.
Camera issues : The reason it only rotates only 45 degrees is mainly because of the sprites. The sprites are 2D pictures and are hand drawn from 8 (!) different angles for animations.
The sprites would be quite annoying if you could rotate in other degrees. Besides that, it’s slow to rotate. I would love to fix those issues, if only I had more CPU…… wii-ware perhaps ? (this is me dreaming out loud).
Maximum achievable scores : Yes, we should do something about it. Maybe I could arrange a contest for that. And besides that I might post some youtube videos online!
