like i said in the other thread, Spong.com seems to be hosting an official-looking press release. GamersDailyNews.com is hosting the same thing, but they don't have the same contact info and stuff at the end like the Spong.com version (and like every other press release Nintendo has ever put out lol).

I wish NoE had a good press site like NoA does... nintendo-europe-media.com sucks. also, flipnote.hatena.com does exist, but it requires a special username/password to get in at the moment (or else it gives you a 401 Authorization Required error).

this is so exciting. it's about damn time.

So there we go. You can thank NoA's marketing team and Reggie for holding back Flipnote on purpose just to have something useful to announce at Gamecon.

I'm assuming the SD storage solution for the DSi won't happen either till next GDC too.
I knew that's why were weren't getting the stupid app. That always seems to be the case now with NoA.

Note: I guess Friday is for NoE, but Gamescon runs from Friday to Monday, so I guess NoA and NoE are both to blame for being idiots.

@Hardy83: you don't know that for sure. that lineup looks pretty good with or without Flipnote Studio in it.

I'm still not sure why everyone is so up on the Flipnote Studio.

ONM is reliable. They're the ones who announce the downloads the day before they come out. No need to doubt them really.

No I don't know for sure, but it always seems to be the case now.

I'm not even sure I'll be getting Flipnote Studio when it hits the US. I'm not that great at drawing with the DS, let-alone animating with the thing. But good luck to all those who are going ape over it!

This is great to hear. I think it's only fair that Europe gets it first, because they don't even have MFC or MVDK yet.

Yeah well, you can blame NoA for my attitude. My assumption that any minor thing that fans really want being held for marketing reasons started when I found out they left us waiting for the Wii SD solution until the last GDC. Instead of giving it to us a soon as possible they try to make their presence more powerful at events.
It makes sense realistically, but it pisses me right off. So I apologies if my assumption for Flipnote is the same.

I think because its free and its not the dsi web browser lol Half the people who get it won't even care lol. I'm betting its gonna beat the dsiweb browser in the top 20 though

I don't think it'll be the browser as the #1. I do think it'll be in #2 place forever. Which will unfortunately make the top 20, effectively, the top 18.
