So far, I'm not really liking it. The fact it doesn't feature touch controls is a big goof in this type of game, and using the L and R buttons to tilt your paddle for english takes some getting used to. I do like the way that every other stage has objectives to meet, like racing against the clock, or completing in a certain number of balls, and the path you take is based on your success or failure of said objectives.
Anyone else get it/ have any thoughts?

Impressions, wow, it might as well be a review -- it's longer than a lot of reviews are. Looks like I'm adding this game to my shopping list.

Have you read Sean's First Impressions. I picked it up, but will try it later as I am playing DQ9 now.

No, I hadn't read that but I wish I had before purchasing. If I knew it was buttons only, I wouldn't have gotten it. Not that I feel ripped off for having wasted my 2$, it's just I was hoping for Alpha Bounce controls with a bit more difficulty balance. The difficulty is fine (no overpowered equipment like in AB) it's just I can't go back to dpad controls after Alpha Bounce, which proved stylus controls can be done without obstructing your view of the bottom screen. It seems like the developers were just too lazy to implement them.

What is the design of this game like? Any screenshots on YouTube yet? I wanna see what it looks like. Is this better than any of the other Ball breaker titles, for instance? I think AlphaBounce rocks, but I guess that is the "best" par to beat.

Based on everything said thus far, it's not better than Alphabounce (not a big surprise).

These is like Alpha Bounce, Alpha Bounce is the best, whats the matter?

Man's worst enemy is laziness.

I'm still working through the challenges on this. Alpha Bounce sounds nice, but not an option for me unless someone sends it to Japan. This is a pretty decent game of breakout and for 200 points I'm not going to complain.

Hey Sean! Do you need any of the challenges translated?

Not so far. They seem to be pretty straightforward even with the language barrier. I find the number of challenges that fail if you lose one ball to be annoying, but I only have four left. Now if you could translate the challenges for 200V Mahjong Challenge Spirits that would be helpful!

Playing it right now...looks like BrickBuster will be my grand return to the NL review staff.

Seems a bit light on content, but for 200 points you can't ask for much more than a fun time-waster. And in that respect, it's definitely got its good points and bad.

Should be an interesting one to write up.
