I noticed that Inchworm, a remarkable paint and animation software bundle, has finally been submitted to Nintendo as a DSiWare game. With any luck, it might be released soon.
I think I'm looking forward to this even more then Rytmic. The paint side offers layers, transparency, thick and thin lines based on the speed of painting plus an awful lot more. The animation side combines all these tools with the power of flipbook software.
If you haven't seen anything about Inchworm before, then please check out this website and the video tutorials embedded there. The URL is: http://www.inchwormds.com/tutorial/
I need a really good fight from the DSiware shop so my most anticipated game right now is Clayfighters . I think I can enjoy BlazyBloo intill this game gets here as long as its less then 3 months or so from its release date.
@pfontaine2: im sorry to say this, but that's copyright to nintendo dsi's flipnote studio. whether or not nintendo got it, it will most likely an upgrade for nintendo's flipnote studio... even if for an arm and a leg... only ds at max, not dsiware! ok?
"Why hate, when we can pictochat... ...or we can atleast fight on multiplayer mode". Flipnote Studio Command: Up,B,down(x2),Left(x2),B(x2) Bomberman Blitz! FC: 180626757893
Hi Thaneds, I'm confused by your response. Inchworm's website states that it will be sold as DSiWare and that it has already received an ESRB rating for Everyone. It seems that it's release will be imminent. There are already a number of music applications available as DSiWare, the most recent being Rhythm Core Alpha, with Rytmik coming to the US in a couple of weeks. I'm certain that Inchworm and FlipNote Studio can co-exist, especially when one is free and the other is likely to be one of the more expensive DSiWare titles available.
I'm not certain what you mean by "only ds at max, not dsiware". Thanks for the response and looking forward to hearing more from you.
@pfontaine2 - I think by when Thaneds means "only DS at max, not DSiWare" it means that the entire Inchworm program can't be compressed into 16 MB of data, the limit of DSiWare. I'm sure that all of the programs you mentioned and about 3x as many could live harmoniously on DSiWare, it's just that Inchworm can't be compressed in it's entirety onto DSiWare.
