I'm looking at buying the original Gameboy Advance off of eBay, but I heard that the original GBA hurts your eyes because the screen is so dim, and you need AA batteries to make it run. I want to play original GB ,GBC and GBA games! (I sold my old DS Lite for a new DSi and so I can't play GBA games anymore) I want to buy some GB and GBC games and play them on the GBA.
Should I buy the GBA or should I wait for the Virtual Handheld?
Any advice? (I don't want to buy a GBA SP because it is quite a bit more money.) I have 20+ GBA games that I can't play anymore.
P.S. I do have the Gameboy Player for the Gamecube, but I kind of want to play Gameboy games on the go.
Sorry if I was too vague, if you need help understanding my situation, POST!
Instead of getting a new GBA or a new GBA SP (because you said they were too expensive) I would say take the middle route; get a used SP. They can be found very cheap in at least decent condition.

Oh, I was going to get a used one in the first place. (I found a used GBA for $15)
Wow. I really don't know. I have a GBA with a PowerPak, but my old charger broke. Thankfully, my Nokia Phone Charger worked fine with it.
Sorry, I gotz out of hand there. Anyway, if you are getting a GBA, Always turn on a light! It helps. I still have mine, but I don't use it. (But that dosen't mean you can buy it, no offense.) If you're games are worthy enough for you to buy a GBA, I say gopher it. Lolz, retarded joke.
That's my advice. You don't have to follow it.
By the way, wat games do u hav? I'm interested. I got mine in about 03', And my first game 4 it was MK: Super Circuit. Took me 4evr to beatz!
