I agree. A screenshot function would be neat. Would be thousand times prettier than making pictures with a camera.

You guys have good ideas.
I'm mostly vouching on the SD Card Menu support (and of course, video recording/playback)
But the screenshot function is news to me...
Nintendo DSi Sound could use some bumped-up features.DSi Camera should have a video recorder (because Snapped! was the closest thing so far that mirrored it)

This is pretty much the only place on the web that firmware 1.5 is being discussed. Go ahead, try doing a google search.

As others said, SD support would be nice and would hopefully open the doors to other developers being able to use the SD card for more(besides, it doesn't seem Nintendo can stop pirates at this rate without destroying actual DS games like Danny Phantom by making them unplayable on the DSi).
I'd also like to see video playback, but I doubt it would happen (would Nintendo have released it originally...?)

An SD Card Menu would enable you to store all your DSiWare on your SD Card and access it from there, giving you much more space to store games on your DSi.
isnt there already one of those when you go to dsi settings,go to data management and click sd card?

I think he is talking about starting games on your SD card from a menu.

I don't think Nintendo will waste their time with making an e-mail client for the DSi because the web browser is available and you can access most E-mail sites (yahoo, Gmail, hotmail) through mobile devices. As far as I can see there is really no point, Instead They should focus on something flash capability (for both Wii and Dsi) and the ability to record videos.

The Wii already has flash in it's browser.

My two suggestions are SD Card menu and Virtual Console for the DSi.

Currently in construction, but there are some neat things to look at.

It would be great if you could play your own music during gameplay. Then I wouldn't have to carry my ipod around too.I didn't realise when I bought my dsi that there was no SD card menu. I bought an SD card at the time but probably wont use it until this feature becomes available. I only have 7 dsi games & I'm running short of space already.

yeah, they could have it so that when you press the power button, it opens a menu like the Wii, and has an option to take a screenshot of the current screen. then it would go in the photo channel or something. Also, you would be able to go the options and change it so if you like it always going to the main menu when you press it you could change it back.

It can't open a menu like the Wii. On the Wii, the Home Menu is programmed into the game, not the system.

I would like to see a Video album in the Camera menu. (yes, obviously i wanna make videos... dammit, a mosquito is flying near me,i hate these bastards... anyway,i want my DSi camera to support video recording. What's the use of 2 cameras ANYWAY?!?!?!)
I want a SD card support for their apps - example: using SD memory to cache temporary data of the DSi Browser (more memory). Or "transporting" savegames to my SD card.
I want a simple, intuitive messenger with a webcam function, if possible (i don't care for frame-rates in an online chat.If they make the DSi camera to record ,say,10 fps ... it is more than enaugh to view others and friends seeing me live ,with no fuss.). I want a Youtube APP (not a flash player for the DSi browser.but a stand-alone app to search youtube videos). Or,they should make their own Online Video community APP,that can search for youtube videos or whatever...
A very simple Video player (3gp,FLV,MP4 supported) . So, basicaly, you download a FLV video from youtube (with your PC or what not...) and then you could watch it from your SD card on a Video Player. If that would be done, people wouldn't care for youtube support/dsi browser flash player.
Please, for goodness sake ... they MUST do something to use every resource this console has. I want to see some real SD CARD functionality!! (like, cached memory on the SD card... or something, dammit)
Okay,im off to bed.Cheers
