Topic: DSi E3 Predictions

Since its been quiet in the Nintendo World. You know that Nintendo is going to reveal some thing huge for The Wii,DSi and DS.

Now, since the DSi has an upgradeable software. What do you think Nintendo will announce at E3?

I'm guessing the ability to sync your Address Book and send messages to a Wii or DSi

By the way, i love using my DSi to browse this site!

I know some good predictions:
1. A new main Pokemon game
2. Super Smash Bros. DSi
3. DSi Virtual Console
4. Announcing DSi retail games (Don't see any in the market)

Four solid predictions that should come true, although #2 is a little questionable.

I can't help but think the DSi Virtual Console is going to see an announcement at E3. It's just so obvious when you consider the huge back catalog of Game Boy games, not to mention the fact that the Virtual Console has been a huge success on their Wii console. I'd be shocked if it wasn't announced.

It also wouldn't surprise me to see a new color or two for the DSi system here in the US.

The DSi VC has to happen. It would be utterly stupid of Nintendo not to. It's free money, ya know?

I think there'll probably be a few DSiWare tricks up everyone's sleeves too. And, like Smash said, DSi retail games.

I also fully expect a Mario or Zelda announcement, although I would more than settle for F-Zero.

They are probably going to release the moving memo pad on the day of E3 like the wii SD card system update was released on GDC.

I don't know about a new pokemon game. An announcement now would cut into Platinum sales.

I'm keeping my mouth shut on this one.

The obvious prediction for me (like so many others) is DSi Virtual Handheld, but there has to be more than that. I mean, apart from announcements of new Zelda and Pokemon games for DSi and Sports Resort for Wii, there really hasn't been much happening in the world of Nintendo since April. Of course, if it is only DSi VH that's announced, and it's released that very same week, it'll still be a huge shock for me (if I run into the street cheering during a thunderstorm wearing an al-foil helmet with a lightning-rod stuck to the top, which I'd never do! )

But seriously, I'd be so delighted for Japan to not be the only ones to get the service. I grew up with Game Boy, and GBA got me through most of high school (until DS came along), so...YES PLEASE!
