Topic: dsi cases/skins

hey i was just wondering whats a good case to get for my dsi and ive heard the aluminum blocks wifi and ive had the siicon one but it just slips off? or just post reviews of any case u've had

I am going to try this one when it comes in. My dsi is an XL and there is not allot of choices. I like that you can leave the cover on your dsi when you play and there are slots to put games. Seems to be what I am looking for. It is due in at best buy October 31.

I got a pair of simple sock thingies from dealextreme.com for my DS Lite and DSi: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.27865

I like them, because they aren't bulky, keep my DSes from getting scratched up, and don't look conspicuous like you've got something anyone would want to steal.

I had a foam case and silicon case for my DS Lite in the past, but the foam case was bulky, and the silicon case blocked the top of the screen a bit and wouldn't close perfectly, so I never even bothered trying those for my DSi.

I have a plastic casing for both my DS and PSP that fits around the system. The PSP actually has a plastic covering over the screen so I don't have to worry about it getting scratched up. But the DS one just protects it from getting scratched or beat up.

I wanted to get the Dragon Quest IX skin off Play-Asia, but it was sold out.

I bought the NERF case for both of the Nintendo DS's in my family. They are freaking great! My daughter drops everything and the nerf case has saved her DS so many times it isn't funny. Well...actually it is kinda funny. When she drops it, her DS bounces around like a little Nerf football. It's kinda cute.

When my DSi arrives next week, I'll be ordering one for me.

edit: Also, the smallish size of the DS really puts a cramping on my hands. With the nerf cover, it makes it MUCH more comfortable to hold.
edit part deux: Geeze...the color options are pretty fugly for the DSi...
