What with the G&W games and Rayman having been released on DSiWare and Earthworm Jim soon to be released I can't help but feel that the DSi already has VC. Yes I know that they can't update games that are on VC. But the DSiWare releases are half-way there. I think there will be more old school games being released disguised as DSiWare by updating them.
If they price those games at 200 a piece it will be a huge rip off. Intellivision games are so old and outdated it now they would have to be grouped together and sold at a cheaper price to warrant getting your money out of it.

@slapshot82: No, the rightsholder of Intellivision was denied DSiWare status because Nintendo told them they won't allow emulation on DSiWare - this is actually going to be a cart release and will hopefully include the Imagic and Activision games from the PC version. The touchscreen should be used for the keypad so I predict this will be superior to the Gamecube version and be much more playable - hopefully it will be released in time for my visit to the States so I can pick it up!
I have to say though, I don't see what bearing the age or graphics of the games has to do with the price. After all there are NES games that are a lot less sophisticated than WiiWare titles of the same price, but I don't see people complaining about that. I'd gladly part with a measly 200 points to play some ancient 8-bit games which I'll get more out of than a lot of original DSiWare games I've paid 500 points for!
I think the reason people don't see it as VC on DSiware is the fact that we only get Retro titles every few months or so. If it was a real VC, we'd probably get stuff every week.
Just let it happen.
