Hello
I have recently got into touch screen games on my D's. I'm trying Pokémon link and Layton but wondered if anyone else had good touch screen only games for theDS!

Thanks

Ghost Trick. Easily 10/10 game.

Also, Nine Hours Nine Persons Nine Doors is a game that doesn’t focus on the touch screen if I remember correctly, but it uses the dual screen aspect and is very good.

Viva Piñata, it's an extremely faithful adaptation of the original xbox 360 game with streamlined gameplay.

There's also other obvious options like Zelda, Nintendogs, Animal Crossing, Brain Age, and Wario Ware.

Oh right, how could I forget Rhythm Heaven?

Harvest Moon Island of Happiness and Harvest Moon Sunshine Islands are also completely touch compatible. With the former having no option to use the dpad to move at all.

Mario & DK Miniland Mayhem is also full touch.

Sweet! Dragon quest nice! Tomodachi collection I'm assuming is related to tomodachi life. Trauma centre was a great series. Seems like another world now with that series being a big game

One more needed for this, magical starsign
It's 100 percent touch screen and appears like a great RPG by 2nd party Nintendo company brownie brown!

I'm currently playing Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo Tales on the DS. It's a deck-building RPG that also contains a lot of minigames which are used to advance the story and unlock new cards, and all the minigames are built around touch control (and the microphone for a couple of them). I don't think I've ever seen/heard anyone talk about this game but it's pretty good fun; it's clearly aimed at kids so it's a little simplistic but there's a decent amount of strategy to the card battles, and getting high enough scores on the minigames to unlock all the cards is actually quite challenging. I'd recommend it if you're interested in playing a card-based RPG crossed with a minigame collection, set in the Final Fantasy universe (and who wouldn't be?)
(By the way, @Anti-Matter have you played this game? It seems right up your street)

Isn't Anti-Matter the one who has a strong dislike for popular franchises?

@Dogorilla I played it as a kid and enjoyed it. I worry about my ability to enjoy it now as an adult

@mrjelly @morpheel you may remember but MS was working on a version of Halo for DS, I remember the screen shots in mags back then but I guess it got canned

See ya!

mrjelly

Oh yeah! It wouldn't be exclusive touch screen (for this topic) but I would love to at least see a leaked playable version or something! Gone are those days for now eh? Exclusive hand held version, exclusive any version. Cos they did a few, diddy Kong and viva piñata so I guess they were looking at it.

Maestro: Jump in Music. It requires a DS fat to play due to a scaling issue, but it was my favorite touch screen game for the DS by far. It's a platformer played on guitar strings that you can pluck up or down while hitting obstacles to the beat. A little birdie auto-runs along the strings, and you have to time and plan your plucks to make it jump accordingly. Most of the music is orchestral, and there's a good mix of classical Japanese and European music.

Ah wow! Maestro jump looks great! How weird it doesn't play on a lite, that's a game I had no idea about! But pasta games did pix the cat which I would like to come to switch or something! It was an Xbox 360 live game
