I still have my red DS Lite with Super Mario Galaxy skins but the worst thing about the DS Lite imo is the smushy buttons. I prefer playing on my Mario 25th anniversary DSi XL when I wanna play DS games

DS Lite took up ALOT of my time when it came out. I got the white one on launch day thanks to my original DS warranty at Best Buy, then used the same warranty for a black, the AGAIN for the Pokemon version in the picture. DS Lite was no doubt my most favorite handheld of all time. I've moved on to 3DS XL, even going as far as selling my DS Lite to an presumably not so well off Mexican family in a beat up mini van for a next to nothing price compared to retail value sellers, along with a bundle of games. I'm part Mexican, so it's not racist to say these things. If you are still offended Nintendo Life staff, I will gladly edit this post by request, as this took along time to type... Same goes for my DSi. Even with as much fun as we have had, and are having, it is always good to move on and look forward to new things. In this case, 3DS carries on the best of DS Lite forward, while still being unique in it's own ways. R.I.P. DS Lite... You will always make me think of when I was younger and slept in during those worry free summer days.

i still have my DS lite blue/black one, the only problem is that it doesn't work...the screen was dropped on the floor. so now i only see a white screen with lines. i still have my pokemon emerald game.
Want: Harvest Moon: One World, Story of Seasons: Pioneering Town, Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury
Finished the Alola Dex.
Now playing New Horizons, Wrath of White Witch and Sword
I never got a DS lite, but I played a friends DS lite lots of times, to help him in some games (mostly Elite Beat Agents), perhaps i'll get one someday.
I skipped the DSi thing too, I really liked the DS lite it looked good and felt good, I had the cobalt Blue one, and the gba compatability was awesome. I sold it to gamestop for a measly $15,hella bad mistake.
